I grew up in the 50’s and when us kids spoke of games it was such games as stick ball, punch ball, touch football, hide and go seek, all between parked cars, in the city streets. We climbed trees, explored city parks, my parents took us to beaches, amusement parks, everything had to do with physical activity, being active, exercising the muscles of our bodies, getting the blood flowing, burning calories. We didn’t know what obese meant, never heard of it.,it was the exception to the rule, not the rule like it is today. We couldn’t wait to go out after school no matter how cold it was. When we came back in for dinner ( back then we all had to be in for dinner, and, at the same time ) my mom use to say we had ‘rosy cheeks’ The summers were filled with activities, you couldn’t keep us in the house.

A weak, lazy, generation of kids are we bringing up in this world.

It is good that people are thinking of and realizing the need for a “family time”. Every child aspires for care and attention. They learn to trust this way.

Children who grow with love and care of parents and grand parents seem to be more content and in turn become caring for others. Children in our (my brothers’ and mine) family reflect this. Now they behave as our parents.

It is never “Take & Give”; it has to be always “Give & Do not Expect”.

The Israelite nations have become like stupefied druggies. Sadly, so many here, in America and I suppose Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel, simply do not want to hear, see or read it and that fulfills another bible prophecy. The West will do nothing to stop its own destruction.

The bible prophecies, as explained by God’s ordained men, men of whom God had ancient prophets write of in the Holy Scriptures, Mr. Armstrong 70 years ago and continued now by Mr. Flurry, are no longer seen “through a glass darkly”, but are becoming frighteningly crystal clear.

As a wife and mother, this has been a most joyful and challenging part of my career. I enjoyed work at a university, and I love being at home now. Even if salaries are low at times, I am glad to have this opportunity and priority to be able to teach and show my son this world that is all so new to him, and for my husband to be able to come home to a happy wife and son, in a clean and organised home - on the most part! There is also no end to learning on the job.

Wow! This article and the Ft Hood article are beyond excellent! Telling it like it is is not popular in our country anymore. Good for you. Both sides of my hallway is lined with family veterans, some KIA; I look at those pictures and realize their sacrifice was for naught. My grandchildren - nine - are the armchair warriors you describe except for one who is in the Marines and one who has a perforated eardrum but is otherwise healthy; with a high GPA; drug, tobacco, and alcohol free; and dedicated. He won one of two ROTC scholarships from the Air Force and lost it because of a tiny hole in his eardrum! If they are in such desperate need, why would they do that to someone whose whole high school and college goal set was being in the Air Force.

Absolutely right! This is why we have black box voting machines. The liberals (the lawbreakers) know that the American people have enough common sense and morality to not ever vote these people into office. But there is a very corrupt and dangerous breed of lawbreakers (some call it the “Shadow Government”) who have invaded our form of Republic. Just as is stated in the “Communist Manifesto” that America will not be attacked from without, but will fall from within. We have been infiltrated to the higest levels of our gov’t. like a cancer and we the people have got to see it for what it is. The only way for evil to flourish is by good men doing nothing. Since the American people could not possibly imaging that our own gov’t. is trying to turn our Republic into a socialistic/ communistic state, it is hard for most people to grasp. The main culprits for this endeavor to flourish is the major media. They have kept the American people in the dark for a very long time. Now, the people are starting to wake up. I just hope it isn’t too late. When these evildoers and usurpers of our Constitution are held accountable and escorted off to jails for their contemptuous crimes, only then will they stop and think twice before daring to do usurp and lead us down a path of destruction. Our land is infested with them, and we are now reaping our own destruction. We have [had] a Republic form of government, if we can keep it.!
