UN Ignores Hamas’s Rape of Jews

The United Nations excluded Hamas from a list published Tuesday of state and non-state actors who committed sexual assault during 2023.

Why it matters: On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas carried out a historic massacre against Israel that left more than 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals dead. During the massacre, terrorists committed numerous, well-documented acts of depraved sexual violence. The sexual violence has continued in the months since, as Hamas has continuously assaulted many of the people it took hostage on that dark day.

This stunning decision by the UN, led by Secretary General António Guterres, shows the profound corruption and rot of the organization.

The new list also failed to include evidence of widespread Russian sexual assaults against Ukrainians.

Details: Guterres claims his conclusion resulted from a lack of credible evidence. The “Conflict-Related Sexual Violence” report says there is evidence of sex crimes committed during Hamas’s October 7 attack, but doesn’t blame the terrorists.

  • Israel’s Foreign Ministry reacted by saying Guterres ignored “the plethora of testimony and evidence that was collected and then included in the report of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Sexual Violence in Conflict Pramila Patten.”
  • Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said he was “disgusted” by the report and that “Guterres has turned the UN into an extremely anti-Semitic and anti-Israel institution during his tenure, which will be remembered as the darkest in the organization’s history.”

Main takeaway: Since the UN’s beginning, our predecessor, the Plain Truth, said the organization would fail at its most basic goal: to bring peace to the world. This appalling report is only the latest evidence proving the Plain Truth correct.
