Massive forest fires are devastating areas of the United States, while other areas are experiencing record flooding. What is the cause of this disastrous weather? Some blame it on weather patterns, others on climate change. But the Bible forecast thousands of years in advance that nations would experience natural disasters as a result of another, more important factor. “[A]nd I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered,” the Prophet Amos wrote (Amos 4:7).
