Paper money is going the way of the dinosaur—extinct. Soon you will be unable to use the paper bills stuffed under your mattress or in your wallet. New technology means that the currencies of the future will be digital. And that means that governments will know where every penny is at every second, where it is being spent, who is spending it, and who is receiving it. The data could potentially be stored forever. People will be forced to keep their money in the banks or online. Tax collection will be instant, governments will be able to impose negative interest rates and other punitive schemes. The Bible says a time is coming when people will not be able to buy or sell without the approval of the government.

With all this in mind: Just what is the mark of the beast? And how will it be enforced?
