New Movie About Winston Churchill—Did Filmmakers Get It Right?
Listen to the March 31 Trumpet Daily Radio Show.
A new movie about Winston Churchill will be released before the anniversary of the D-Day invasion on June 6. One famous Churchill historian wrote that the movie depicts Churchill as a “petulant, ill-tempered, sarcastic, unpleasant, decrepit, oafish drunken has-been.” The movie is riddled with historical inaccuracies that undermine and degrade the legacy of one of Britain’s greatest leaders. On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, we conduct our first-ever movie review, to uphold the reputation of the greatest Briton of all time.
