Iran celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution this week. While many in the West think of the revolution as purely a historical event, to the Iranians, the revolution is ongoing.
On February 11, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave a speech titled “Second Phase of the Revolution.” In it, he called for Iran’s youth to pick up the mantle and push the Islamic Revolution forward.
This revolution set the stage for the fulfillment of one of the most dramatic prophecies in the Bible.
