Macron Declares War on the Unvaccinated ‘to the Bitter End’
In a rare moment of complete honesty, one of Europe’s leaders revealed that he has great pleasure in persecuting and ruining the lives of millions of citizens. French President Emmanuel Macron said that he is determined to “annoy the unvaccinated to the bitter end.” He added in an interview with Le Parisien newspaper on January 4: “I really want to [annoy] the unvaccinated.” Even the generally supportive parliamentarians fear that Macron is going too far.
Macron “used the verb ‘emmerder,’ whose origin is described in the Académie Française dictionary as ‘to cover with excrement.’ In the judgment of the language guardians, the expression is ‘vulgar’ and can sound contemptuous,” wrote Germany’s faz.net in “Opponents of Vaccination Are No Longer Citizens for Macron.” “He rages against vaccination opponents and wants to exclude them from social life. Right-wingers, conservatives, left-wingers, Greens and Communists—they are all outraged.”
The New York Times wrote: “Macron Under Fire After Arguing France Should Make Life Miserable for the Unvaccinated.”
Macron told the unvaccinated that, starting January 15, “You can’t go to restaurants; you can’t drink red wine; you can’t go for coffee; you can’t go to the theater; you can’t go to the movies.” As much as possible, he wants to restrict their “access to the activities of social life.”
“I’m not going to put them in jail,” he clarified in his January 4 interview. “I’m not going to vaccinate them by force.” But he then said, “Someone irresponsible is not a citizen.”
France’s National Assembly was enraged by his comments. The president of the session had to interrupt a debate on tightening the rules for the so-called “health passport” because of the uproar among deputies. The new passport is intended to increase pressure on the unvaccinated as only fully vaccinated and recovered people can have access to restaurants, shopping malls and cinemas.
Though Macron’s comments are receiving much public outcry, they also reveal the obsession some European leaders have with suppressing those who don’t comply with their measures. Early on in the pandemic, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry warned in “Coronavirus and the Holy Roman Empire” that “European leaders are increasingly behaving like dictators and assuming dictatorial power. The people of Europe are being conditioned to accept more tyrannical leadership.”
At that time, no one thought the coronavirus would bring such an attack on the freedoms and private lives of citizens. But in 2022, Europe’s transformation is undeniable. We constantly see footage of Europe’s police forces brutally suppressing protesters and politicians using increasingly tyrannical means to suppress the populous. Mr. Flurry’s warning has proved accurate.
This freakish desire for control is prophesied to spread into other areas. Revelation 13 warns of a European empire (symbolized by a “beast”) that will exert great authority over its citizens. The late Herbert W. Armstrong explained in Who or What Is the Prophetic Beast? that this empire has been around for centuries, but it is prophesied to have a revival in our day. Events in Europe are leading directly to the fulfillment of this prophecy.
