The Twitter Files Expose the Deeper State

Investigative journalist Matt Taibbi released another 50-tweet thread on March 2 exposing how the United States government funds a group dedicated to muzzling conservative Americans.

This thread, labeled Twitter Files 17.0, reveals that the U.S. State Department’s Global Engagement Center worked with the Atlantic Council’s digital forensic research lab to censor 40,000 Twitter accounts associated with India’s Bharatiya Janata Party. Yet internal e-mails between the Atlantic Council and former Twitter head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth show that the Atlantic Council’s blacklist was full of ordinary Americans with no connection to India and no clue about Indian politics.

The deeper state: This type of censorship should not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with the first 16 releases of the Twitter Files. The evidence that the U.S. government has weaponized its intelligence agencies against conservatives is overwhelming. Yet the role played by the Atlantic Council is noteworthy.

This American think tank was founded in 1961 to promote cooperation between North America and Europe. Many of its leaders also work for the Bilderberg Group, the Council of Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. All of these groups want to suppress Hindu nationalism, American nationalism and European nationalism so they can create a trans-Atlantic technocracy that governs both the U.S. and the European Union without popular interference.

Holy Roman Empire: The Atlantic Council is also promoting the EU’s Digital Service Act, a set of sweeping regulations about online-content governance that the EU is trying to use to censor Twitter accounts. Many of the same people trying to censor conservatives for the U.S. government are also trying to censor conservatives for the EU government.

In his article “Germany Is Taking Control of the Internet,” Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explains that a seventh resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire will soon come to power and start regulating what people can say and hear. That means the deep state’s center of gravity will shift from Washington to Berlin.
