Space Force Nominee Fired Service Member for Speaking Against Marxism
Joe Biden nominated Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting on July 11 to replace Gen. James Dickinson and become the next leader of the United States Space Command. If the Senate confirms him, Whiting will be promoted to the rank of four-star general. Yet many conservatives are concerned about the promotion, since Whiting played a role in firing Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier for speaking out against Marxism in the military.
While promoting his book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military, in May 2021, Lohmeier said that military diversity, equity and inclusion programs were rooted in cultural Marxism. Lohmeier was then fired by Whiting over a “loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead.”
Marxist revolution: Whiting’s promotion is especially concerning, as it is only the latest step in the much larger Marxist takeover of the U.S. military. Defense Secretary Lloyd James Austin has hired critical race theorist Bishop Garrison as the Pentagon’s new extremism czar, tasked with purging conservatives from the military. And Joe Biden has nominated Gen. Charles Brown to succeed Gen. Mark Milley as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and implement quotas to limit the share of white male officers in the military. Such radically “woke” generals are prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion programs above military preparedness.
Leadership vacuum: Isaiah foretold of a devastating leadership vacuum in end-time Israel, which prophetically speaking is primarily comprised of the American and British people. He described a time when America’s armed forces are deprived of “the mighty man,” “the man of war” and “the captain of fifty” (Isaiah 3:1-3). Instead of warriors, the military is filled with women, effeminate men, childish leaders and Marxist traitors. This lack of genuine leadership makes the mightiest military in history vulnerable to annihilation.
