On August 3, President Donald Trump was arraigned for the third time this year. After leaving federal court in Washington, D.C., he told reporters bluntly, “When you look at what’s happening, this is a persecution of a political opponent. This was never supposed to happen in America.”

This new federal indictment includes four felony counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States by attempting to overturn the election results; conspiracy to violate civil rights, namely citizens’ rights to vote and to have their votes counted; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, that is, the congressional certification of the electoral vote; and the actual obstruction of that proceeding. Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, asserted that each of the Trump indictments, not to mention their timing, are intentional deflections from news about the crimes of Joe Biden and his family.

Trump has called upon the Supreme Court to “intercede” in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case against him, rightly claiming that prosecuting someone for stating their belief that the election was stolen is a violation of free speech. But, once again, support from most Republicans is conspicuous for its absence. In a cnn interview, former Attorney General Bill Barr dismissed Trump’s free speech defense by saying that “free speech does not give you the right to engage in a fraudulent conspiracy.” Barr is assuming, and wants viewers to assume, that Trump was deliberately lying rather than stating a sincere opinion—let alone an opinion that is absolutely right about the highly irregular 2020 presidential election.

Meanwhile, as it happens, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee released a 141-page transcript of its interview with Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden. This interview contains testimony that proves beyond doubt that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s apparently criminal business dealings. Yet we are not hearing nearly enough about it because Trump is being tried for election fraud claims he made two years ago.

Even the popular liberal podcaster Joe Rogan is suggesting that the “deep state” helped engineer chaos at the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol protest. As the Trumpet has emphasized repeatedly, this cabal of elite government radicals, led not by Joe Biden but by puppetmaster Barack Obama, had everything to gain from such chaos. Donald Trump had everything to gain from protesters “peacefully and patriotically” making their voices heard while dozens of members of Congress used official channels to demand investigations into the election irregularities before certifying it as legitimate, legal and binding.

We know which of those two sides got what it wanted.

Obama and Biden want to keep Americans focused on the more extreme parts of the January 6 Capitol protest, to blame them on Trump and especially to deemphasize and ignore criminal activity from the Bidens. Each Trump indictment has corresponded in some way to bombshell news about the Bidens; in this case, it was timed for two days before the Devon Archer transcript was released.

If the American people focus on the millions in bribe money the Biden crime family has raked in, on the 2020 election irregularities that took Joe Biden from his basement to the Oval Office, or the fact that this pretender to the throne is clearly being controlled by someone else, the Democrats will lose power in 2024 if not sooner.

Hence the latest surge in “Trump is an insurrectionist” propaganda, this time with an official indictment. We do not know what will happen in the short term, but this indictment could give Mr. Trump the opportunity to present evidence of election fraud to the public. The charge hinges largely upon whether his claims of an election steal were “free speech” or “fraudulent conspiracy.” A judge who is even partially impartial will have to allow his defense to provide evidence as to why he thought the election was stolen.

The next hearing for this particular case against Donald Trump is set for August 28. We will see how it proceeds, but no reasonable person can honestly conclude the 2020 presidential election was free and fair. And no observant person can honestly reason that fraud made no difference.

Those controlling the deep state engineered chaos at the Capitol and, far more importantly, a quick congressional certification of the 2020 election without debate. They knew the election was rigged, and they have done everything they can to keep the spotlight off of the events that brought Joe Biden—and Barack Obama—back to the White House. So far, they have stayed in power largely by keeping the minds of enough Americans off of the evidence, the facts and the importance of the 2020 election fraud.

The Trumpet has asserted for two years now that the election was stolen and that, more than any other person, the 2020 defrauding of the United States by overturning the true election results; the violation of civil rights, namely the right to vote and to have their votes counted; the conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, that is, the congressional certification of the electoral vote; and the actual obstruction of that proceeding was the work of Barack Hussein Obama.

In America Under Attack, my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, explains that Donald Trump is an end-time type of Israel’s King Jeroboam ii. He explains that 2 Kings 14:26-27 are not only history but also prophecy in which God promises to save—temporarily—America and the other end-time descendants of Israel “by the hand of Jeroboam.” Donald Trump’s post-indictment statement, “I am the only one that can save this nation, because you know they’re not coming after me, they’re coming after you, and I just happen to be standing in their way,” is largely true—more true than he knows.

My father also ties this prophecy to the Prophet Amos, who lived at the same time as King Jeroboam ii and whose prophecies have been preserved for thousands of years for today. Amos 7:8 states, “And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more.” God says that, just as He measured out the destruction of America’s Israelite ancestors for their rebellions against His laws, He will measure out the same punishing destruction for the same national sins—in this generation.

This prophecy is why the Trumpet continues to assert that President Trump will return to power. We do not know exactly how this will unfold, but there is a strong chance that nation-shaking fraud will be exposed soon! And when it is, remember that the cause of that exposure is a miracle not from Donald Trump but from God, and that the purpose for that exposure is to give Americans—liberal and conservative—one last chance to truly repent of their sins before national punishment, national destruction, descends.
