Donald Trump Celebrates ‘Blockbuster’ Interview on Elon Musk’s X Platform
While eight Republican presidential candidates bickered on stage during the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle, the Republican front-runner Donald J. Trump sat down with Tucker Carlson in an interview that aired on Elon Musk’s X platform. This was an unorthodox way for a former president to advance his 2024 campaign. Yet it seems to have worked.
The video has 150 million views, which would make it the most-watched television interview of all time, topping Oprah Winfrey’s 1993 interview of Michael Jackson, which garnered 62 million views. However, Twitter counts views differently from tv shows, with anyone scrolling past the tweet counting as a view—meaning the figures are not directly comparable.
Blockbuster interview: Trump told Carlson that he did not attend the debate because he was “leading by 50 and 60 points” and did not want to be “harassed by people that shouldn’t even be running for president.”
The 45th president spent 45 minutes talking about how the 2020 presidential election was stolen, former Vice President Mike Pence’s disloyalty, Joe Biden’s rapidly deteriorating health, the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandals, whether his enemies would try to kill him, and the prospect of civil war in America.
Ready for war: When Carlson asked about the prospect of civil war, Trump said, “[T]here’s a level of passion that I’ve never seen” and “a level of hatred that I’ve never seen,” adding, “that’s probably a bad combination.” Although neither Carlson nor Trump could say whether civil war is coming, the Bible tells us that rioting and urban violence are coming to America.
A sobering prophecy in Ezekiel 5:12 reveals that one third of the population of end-time America and Britain will die from the pestilence, famine and violence that will result from civil war. That means more than 100 million people will die from rioting and warfare in the U.S. alone.
The coming violence in America’s cities is punishment, but it is punishment with a purpose. God will use it to show us the result of sin and turning away from His laws to our own carnal thinking.
