Chinese Company Building Michigan Battery Plants Employs 923 Communists
The Biden administration wants to spend $12 billion converting existing auto manufacturing facilities into plants for hybrid and electric vehicles. Yet a recent report shows that much of this money will likely go to companies run by the Chinese Communist Party.
Gotion High-Tech Power Energy Co. is the parent company of Gotion Inc., which intends to build two electric battery plants in Michigan. According to Gotion Co.’s 2022 esg report, it employs 923 Communist Party members. Yet the radical Biden administration is allowing Gotion to move forward with its project despite conservatives’ misgivings.
Red flags: Gotion’s North American manufacturing vice president Chuck Thelen told Politico in August, “The rumors that you’ve heard about us bringing communism to North America are just flat-out fear-mongering and really have nothing based in reality.”
Whether or not Communists are working in Michigan, Gotion is owned by a Hefei-based company full of Communists. This is concerning as Gotion’s proposed battery plant will be located within 60 miles of military armories and 100 miles from Camp Grayling, the largest United States National Guard training facility.
Dark hour: During the Cold War, educator Herbert W. Armstrong warned that communism would be used to take America’s blessings.

Mr. Armstrong focused on Communist Russia’s demoralization efforts attacking our morals, social structure and spiritual values. But in terms of industrial and economic power, the main force has been Communist China.
The Prophet Isaiah warned Israel against forsaking God’s law and adopting Eastern philosophies (Isaiah 2:5-6). America has ignored this warning.
