Russia and North Korea Strengthening Military Relations
North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un plans to travel to Russia this month to discuss a possible arms deal with President Vladimir Putin, according to reports from American officials published Monday. The meeting could take place as soon as September 10–13 during the Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok on Russia’s east coast.
The White House has been warning of advancing military negotiations between North Korea and Russia. On Wednesday, it reported that Putin and Kim have been exchanging letters on the matter.
We have information that Kim Jong-un expects these discussions to continue, possibly to include high-level diplomatic engagement in Russia.

The deal is expected to go as follows: Russia receives artillery shells and antitank missiles for use against Ukraine, while North Korea receives food aid and more advanced technology for satellites and nuclear-powered submarines.
Enter China: Meanwhile, Russia, North Korea and China plan to hold joint naval exercises next year. The strengthening of relations between these three nations is ominous for the West. nbc News foreign correspondent Matt Bradley said:
If these exercises do go through, and if they plant the seed for closer relations among Russia, China and North Korea, that could cement a new kind of alliance or axis that’s opposed to the West, and possibly in favor of expansionist military adventures like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and even more troubling, potentially Beijing’s ambitions to take over Taiwan and those islands that are contested in the Western Pacific. So a new axis of cooperation like that between these three countries would make it much harder for the international community to isolate nations that violate international legal norms—to punish and to sanction—because these nations would have friends.
Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has long warned that Russia’s war against Ukraine would help unite Asia under Putin’s leadership. His article “Bible Prophecy Comes Alive in Ukraine!” shows how the Bible foretells of a massive Asian alliance that will emerge in the modern era. Passages in Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation show that this Asian alliance will field an army of 200 million men and will slay a third of mankind!
