Fatah Participated in the October 7 Massacre
Fatah released a video showing its members participating in Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israelis. Fatah released it the day of the massacre, but it was only translated for English audiences by Palestinian Media Watch on November 1.
The video shows the al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade, Fatah’s military wing, attacking Nahal Oz, a kibbutz. One graphic scene shows a Fatah terrorist stepping on the head of an Israeli corpse. “You [Israelis] will see this with your own eyes, Allah willing,” a terrorist said.
“From the heart of these temporary [Israeli] settlements,” another said, “we had a prominent and clear role [in the invasion].”
Palestinian Media Watch exposed a similar video last month, which showed a spokesman bragging about Fatah’s role in the massacre. The latest video shows actual footage.
Terrorists no more? Fatah was founded by Yasser Arafat, who wanted to destroy the State of Israel and replace it with an Arab state. He was one of the instigators of the Second Intifada. He was also the first president of the Palestinian Authority (PA), the governing body of the West Bank set up by the Oslo Accords. Arafat died in 2004.
Today, both the PA and Fatah are led by Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas has tried to change Fatah’s image from a terror group to a legitimate political party.
Fatah’s participation in the October 7 invasion proves this was a facade.
Partners for peace? Many see the PA as the best option for a government over an independent Palestinian state. United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Tuesday it would “make the most sense” for an “effective and revitalized Palestinian Authority to have governance and ultimately security responsibility in Gaza.”
On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called for Israeli taxes collected in the West Bank to be transferred to the PA.
This latest video was not the work of a group of rogue soldiers. Fatah uploaded the video on its website. It is unlikely Abbas was unaware of his party’s participation in the invasion. He either supported his men or felt powerless to do anything about it. Either scenario reveals Fatah as a murderous terror group that is no friend of Israel.
Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry writes in Jerusalem in Prophecy:
The Jews are afraid to get tough even in the Arab areas that they control. They don’t want the “peace” process to break down. But what most of them are blind to is that the peace process is a deadly delusion! It is a wound that will cause death. It is like terminal cancer! …
Why did the Israelis trust the greatest terrorist in the Middle East to protect them from terrorism? They have more than enough power to protect themselves. But they lack the will to use it! That is because God has broken their will ….
