CAIR Urges Biden to Fight ‘Islamophobia’ by Ending Israel’s Campaign Against Hamas
The reaction to Hamas’s barbaric attack on Israel shows terrorism is quite popular in the United States. Organizations like the Council on American Islamic Relations (cair), the Islamic Society of North America and the North American Islamic Trust condemn terrorism generally, but still lobby the U.S. government for pro-Hamas policies.
That is why cair deputy director Edward Ahmed Mitchell urged Joe Biden on November 2 to fight “Islamophobia” by ending Israel’s campaign against Hamas.
The first and most important step President Biden must take to combat surging Islamophobia is the step that American Muslim leaders and organizations have repeatedly called on him to take: demand a ceasefire in Gaza. The development of a national strategy to combat anti-Muslim bigotry is an important step that can make a positive impact if it involves an inclusive process with all stakeholders in the American Muslim community and tackles institutional Islamophobia within the government, such as the watchlist. But first and foremost, we need a ceasefire.

Hamas’s allies: The Council on American Islamic Relations is saying the quiet part out loud. The corporate media’s “Islamophobia” hoax exists to pressure Israel into surrender.
Hamas terrorists have shot Israelis in their cars, shot concertgoers fleeing on foot, tossed grenades at families, mutilated the elderly, burned children, and used their victims’ phones to post their murders online. Yet Muslim lawyers say Israel should not be allowed to defend itself because an Israeli-Palestinian war could stir up negative feelings about Muslims living in the U.S.
Such sentiments are shocking, yet the Biden administration seems to be taking cair’s suggestions to heart. Vice President Kamala Harris has announced a “national strategy to combat Islamophobia.” Former President Barack Obama has opined that “what’s happening to Palestinians is unbearable.” The left sympathizes with Hamas.
Anti-Semitism: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explains in America Under Attack that Bible passages like 2 Kings 14:26-27 predict the rise of a movement to “blot out the name of Israel from under heaven.” The Hamas terrorist group and its Iranian sponsors want to “blot out the name of Israel,” and so do the radical left.
Expect voices like the ones coming from the Council on American Islamic Relations to get louder until God raises up a temporary savior for Israel.
