Poll: Support for Hamas Soaring Among Palestinians
Support for the Hamas terrorist group has risen dramatically among Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, according to an opinion poll published on December 13 by the Palestinian-run Khalil Shikaki Institute.
Regarding the October 7 attack, where Hamas brutally slaughtered more than 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped hundreds more:
- 82 percent of respondents in the West Bank and 57 percent in Gaza said Hamas was “correct” to launch the attack.
- A large majority believes Hamas’s claims that it was “defending” the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and securing the release of Palestinian prisoners.
- Only 10 percent believe Hamas committed war crimes.
- A large majority said they had not seen videos of atrocities committed by the terrorists.
New regime? The poll results also showed that almost 90 percent want Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to resign. Abbas belongs to Fatah, a socialist organization that is considered comparatively more moderate than the Iran-sponsored Hamas.
A terrifying sign: The brutal October 7 attacks have inspired radical Muslims to shift to a policy of more belligerence and savagery. The shift in support of Hamas is a sign of an approaching time of unprecedented suffering prophesied in your Bible.
