Russia Sends Nearly All Oil Exports to China and India
transcript
Almost all of Russia’s oil exports for 2023 were sent to China and India.
Russia’s deputy prime minister confirmed this on Wednesday, and it shows that China and India are playing a key role in perpetuating Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Before last year, Russia sold around 50 percent of its crude exports to Europe. About 7 percent went to the United States. China and India combined bought about 20 percent.
Then Russia expanded its invasion of Ukraine to full-scale war.
Europe and the U.S. sanctioned Russian oil. This could have dealt a major blow to Russia’s economy and its ability to continue the war. But China and India stepped in.
China is now buying 45 to 50 percent of Russian oil exports. India is buying 40 percent.
Many have been surprised to see China and India supporting Russia’s brutal war. But the Trumpet and our forerunner magazine, the Plain Truth, have forecast that Asian nations would join forces for violent campaigns in the modern era.
The Plain Truth and now the Trumpet have been broadcasting this same basic warning for more than 60 years—even when it looked extremely unlikely—because our analysis is founded on Bible prophecy.
