Donald Trump Wins Big on Super Tuesday

Donald Trump dominated Super Tuesday, in which United States voters decide primaries in 16 states and American Samoa. Trump developed a sizable lead over former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley on March 5 and ended up winning 731 out of 854 available delegates. Trump got every state up for grabs except Vermont, prompting Haley to drop out of the race.

Trump still needs 211 delegates to officially clinch the Republican nomination, but his victory is almost assured as all his major rivals have withdrawn.
