‘Clavicles Lady’ Proved to Be a Liar

Former White House aid Cassidy Hutchinson’s famous “clavicles” story from her 2022 testimony to the January 6 Committee was disproved in a report released Monday by the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight. The report not only officially clears Donald Trump in this matter, it exposes the January 6 Committee’s corruption.

Evidence against Hutchinson’s story was buried for more than a year. According to the report, the committee “hid the driver’s full testimony and only favorably mentioned his testimony in its Final Report; it did not release the full transcript.”

The committee’s goal was not justice but a targeted attack against Trump and his supporters.

Contradictions: In June 2022, Hutchinson testified that White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Anthony Ornato told her that during the Jan. 6, 2021, protests, the president demanded to be driven to the Capitol, was denied, and then lunged for his driver’s clavicles, trying to grab the steering wheel.

According to Monday’s report, however, “Ornato testified that the first time he had ever heard the story Hutchinson claims Ornato told her on January 6 was during Hutchinson’s public testimony.”

Four White House employees who were at Trump’s January 6 speech “directly [contradicted] claims made by Cassidy Hutchinson.” Other quotes include:

• “None of the White House employees corroborated Hutchinson’s sensational story about President Trump lunging for the steering wheel of the Beast [the Secret Service vehicle].”
• “Hutchinson’s testimony was also contradicted by the [Secret Service] agent who was with President Trump on January 6.”
• The driver of the president’s vehicle said, “I did not see him reach. He never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all.”
