U.S. Is Trying to Overthrow Netanyahu, Israeli Official Says
The Biden administration is trying to overthrow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, a senior Israeli official said on March 12.
“We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel,” the official said.
Betrayal: The statement was in response to a 41-page United States Annual Threat Assessment report published on March 11. The report reads:
Netanyahu’s viability as leader as well as his governing coalition of far-right and ultraorthodox parties that pursued hard-line policies on Palestinian and security issues may be in jeopardy. Distrust of Netanyahu’s ability to rule has deepened and broadened across the public from its already high levels before the war, and we expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections. A different, more moderate government is a possibility.
The Israeli official’s statement also comes just days after U.S. President Joe Biden said Netanyahu was “hurting Israel more than helping Israel.”
The Trumpet says: Rather than supporting Netanyahu as he fights Hamas, America is using the war in Gaza as an opportunity to destroy Israel and push for a Palestinian state. The Biden administration has even sent hundreds of millions of dollars to Palestinians, including Hamas. To learn why, read our article “Betraying Israel in Its Hour of Need.”
