Donald Trump Calls Out Hamas, Iran
transcript
Yesterday,
Israel Hayom published an exclusive interview with United States presidential candidate Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate. While most of the interview focused on Israel’s war with Hamas, Trump also spoke about his views on Iran’s nuclear program.
He stated, “I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to tell you, but I don’t think you can allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.”
When asked if Iran would get the bomb under him, he said: “They can have a nuclear weapon in 35 days. I have seven months to go, and nine months to take office. A lot of bad things can happen in that period.”
When Trump was president from 2017 to 2021, his “maximum pressure” campaign against Iran drained Iran’s coffers. But with Joe Biden in the White House, Iran has obtained billions of dollars through sanctions relief and other methods. America and the world, meanwhile, sit on their hands while Iran progresses its nuclear enrichment.
Trump was in the White House not long ago. He knows more than most how close Iran is to a nuclear bomb. If he is concerned, everybody should be. The next nine months will show if his prediction of calamity comes to pass.
