Israel’s Arab Partners Help Repel Iranian Attack
Jerusalem’s allies intercepted all but 70 of more than 300 drones and missiles Iran fired at Israel before they ever reached Israeli air space on Saturday. This success could heighten Israel’s trust in its regional allies.
Attack: On Saturday, Iran fired 170 drones, 120 ballistic missiles and 30 cruise missiles at Israel in response to Israel’s assassination of Mohammed Reza Zahedi on April 1.
The United States, United Kingdom and regional allies such as Jordan who are part of the Middle East Air Defense (mead) alliance helped Jerusalem with intelligence, air defense or both when Iran launched its attack alongside its Lebanese and Yemeni proxies.
Israel intercepted the projectiles that entered its air space, destroying “99 percent” of them overall, according to Israel Defense Force spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.
Misplaced trust: The Bible prophesies that Israel’s trust in its neighbors will grow over the coming years. These Middle Eastern nations will increasingly unify and eventually fight and defeat Iran and its allies.
But Bible prophecy warns that this alliance will turn against Israel. This will affect not only Israel, but the U.S., UK and the rest of the world.
