Ahead of Thursday’s presidential campaign debate, the regime media has devoted airtime to the delicate subject of mental fitness. They have consistently portrayed one candidate as having lost some of his mental faculties and the other as smart, reasoned, fully able to recall information, and definitely not suffering cognitive decline in front of the whole world. Guess which one of these candidates is Joe Biden and which is Donald Trump?

The regime media operatives assert that it is Donald Trump who is suffering mental decline and that Joe Biden is mentally sharp—and should remain president through 2028. Biden is largely shielded from the public, yet even in his limited appearances, he is seen trailing off in unintelligible sentences, struggling to answer questions from reporters, admitting that those reporters’ questions are prescreened, looking confused, and aimlessly wandering in groups or on stage. These incidents have become impossible to ignore, so regime journalists are tasked with explaining footage of the episodes as being “deceptively edited.”

But the full videos are out there, and Americans are deciding for themselves which candidate is suffering mental problems induced by age or something else. (Yesterday President Trump challenged Biden to take a pre-debate drug test, hinting that there might be more than just age addling Biden’s mind.)

If you think that the real leader of the United States federal government is Joe Biden, you’re entitled to your opinion. But if you recognize that he has never had the popular, political or even mental wherewithal to win or run a presidency, you have to ask yourself two questions.

Who is really in charge? And why aren’t more people asking this question in the first place?

One recent example of Biden’s cognition or lack thereof was at the G-7, when Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to lead him back to a group of other world leaders when he started aimlessly wandering off during a flag ceremony. When it comes to episodes like these, news media executives have tried ignoring them, have tried portraying them as “deceptively edited,” and are now pivoting to a “Trump is senile” strategy.

Ramin Setoodeh, the author of Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of ‘The View,’” went on msnbc’s Morning Joe and asserted that Trump is losing his memory because he did not remember being interviewed by him. That’s right! The fact that one of the busiest, most powerful people in America can’t remember talking with the guy who wrote Ladies Who Punch is evidence he is senile.

You just can’t make this stuff up. Trump and others forget journalists like Setoodeh because they are forgettable. But they don’t often wander off in a daze at a G-7 flag ceremony. The radical left is desperate for a strategy to make Biden look less incompetent.

Debate week sees the “dementia wars” at full strength, with each political faction trying to convince voters that the other party’s candidate is the most senile. Who would have ever thought an American presidential election would come to this? Yet despite the radical left’s best efforts to label Trump as the senile one, few conservatives actually believe this line. Meanwhile, opinion polls suggest that 73 percent of all registered voters believe Biden is too old to be an effective leader.

This is why sources like the Daily Mail are openly musing about a Democratic plot to replace Biden before the 2024 election. One Democratic strategist told the Daily Mail that it would likely require collusion between Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to force Biden to pull out of the race. The Biden regime has been a disaster for Americans, and even many former Democrat voters are turning to Trump.

How did Biden get into the White House, and who has been propping him up for these past 3½ disastrous years? And why aren’t more people wondering this?

Might it have to do with the man who blew Biden’s 2008 presidential campaign out of the water, swept into the presidency himself instead, made Biden his vice president, won reelection in 2012, and remained in D.C. in 2016 after his second term? Might it be the man who endorsed Biden’s struggling 2020 campaign, who helped propel him to the presidency in a highly suspicious election, and who managed to replace much of Biden’s staff with his own loyalists? Might it be the man who infamously half-joked with comedian Steven Colbert that he would like to secretly control a future president?

These men, of course, are all the same man: Barack Hussein Obama.

In addition to any political vulnerabilities or corruption vulnerabilities, Biden’s mental fragility likely makes him a more obedient puppet for Obama, regardless of whether it is induced by age or drugs (or both). Obama has been able to advance his agenda even further while operating in this way, free from much of the visibility, scrutiny, accountability, opposition and constitutional checks that he had when he officially controlled the presidency.

But is puppeteering Joe Biden a strategy Obama wants to use in the 2024 election as Donald Trump comes roaring back? Even if Obama could contrive another highly suspicious election win, does he think a deteriorating Biden is his best tool for four more years to the age of 86? Pollsters portray voters as fairly evenly split between Biden and Trump, but the former keeps generating unsettling footage when he is allowed in public, and if 73 percent of voters think he is mentally unfit for office, are Americans actually evenly split over Trump versus Biden?

Even left-wing media personality Piers Morgan can see this. In a June 17 editorial, he wrote, “I watched the viral clip of Barack Obama taking a frozen Joe Biden by the arm and leading him off stage at their star-studded $30 million LA fundraiser, and posted on X what I suspect everyone who watched it was thinking: ‘So embarrassing. The Democrats can’t let this go on, surely?’ Within a few hours, a staggering 7.5 million people had viewed my post and many thousands of those had liked, reposted or commented on it. As I thought, the vast majority shared my honestly held opinion that President Biden is no longer fit for the highest office in America. I don’t mean that he’s too incompetent for the job, although many would say he is. No, I mean that he’s too physically and mentally unfit to function at the extremely high level required to be leader of not just the United States, but also the free world.”

Yet we must not assume that just because Biden doesn’t have the capacity to lead America that America is unled. This is what many are doing. They are too confused or too afraid to ask about what is really happening and who is really in control.

“Many people can clearly see that Joe Biden is not really in charge of the government,” my father wrote in his 2021 article “This Isn’t Incompetence. This Is Treason!” “He has filled his administration with Obama-era officials, and Mr. Obama himself is really directing the show! Some say—correctly—that this is effectively Obama’s third term.”

That’s right! The man leading his puppet Biden off stage is leading America toward destruction. The destruction taking place with Biden in the White House isn’t incompetence, it’s treason.

“Many people can see that these are disastrous decisions,” my father writes in America Under Attack. “But we must understand that this isn’t simply the result of ineptitude on the part of this administration, or naivety about how the world really works. We are seeing the aftereffects of a calculated, aggressive, satanic attack aimed at weakening and ultimately destroying the nations of Israel, starting with the world’s most powerful nation!”

2 Kings 14:23-29 describe a Satan-led movement in the end time to “blot out the name of Israel from under heaven,” and Daniel 8:12 exposes an end-time Antiochus who “cast down the truth to the ground.” Together with Revelation 12:9, which reveals that God has cast Satan down to Earth, these verses show that there is a deliberate, planned effort to destroy America. Biden may look lost, senile and incompetent, but he is only a puppet for someone else who actively wants to destroy the United States of America! So whether Biden stays or goes won’t matter. God will have to raise up a political savior to rescue America from Barack Hussein Obama’s agenda!
