Revealed: Germany Weaponized Pfizer Against Trump
In the lead-up to the 2020 United States presidential election, President Donald Trump accused Pfizer of withholding vaccine results until after the election. Internal documents from Germany’s coronavirus crisis team now prove him right.
Following legal pressure, the Robert Koch Institute, which was in constant contact with the German government and the World Health Organization, published the minutes of its pandemic meetings with a few redactions on May 30. The minutes state: “Approval by the fda [Food and Drug Administration] before the U.S. elections is not desired, nor by the European authorities, which means that there will not be initial results before November.”
The fda operates in the U.S.; Germany and the European Union have their own agencies. But both sides of the Atlantic agreed that initial vaccine results should not be published until after the U.S. elections. This had to do with politics, not science.
It shows the German government likely knew about the delay. And there is evidence that it was not just a spectator.
The narrative at the time was that Donald Trump was mismanaging the crisis, providing no solution to the pandemic. The number of covid-19 deaths was hyped up to scare people. Trump hoped favorable results from the vaccine studies would boost his public image, but he suspected the results were purposely delayed to harm him.
On Aug. 22, 2020, Trump tweeted: “The deep state, or whoever, over at the fda is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3. Must focus on speed and saving lives!”
Just days after the election, the vaccine was deemed 90 percent effective.
Trump wrote on Twitter: “As I have long said, Pfizer and the others would only announce a vaccine after the election because they didn’t have the courage to do it before. Likewise, the fda should have announced it earlier, not for political purposes, but for saving lives!”
But that was not the only way Pfizer sought to harm Trump’s public image. Trump stated on November 20:
Big Pharma ran millions of dollars of negative advertisements against me during the campaign—which I won, by the way. … We had Big Pharma against us. We had the media against us. We had Big Tech against us. We had a lot of dishonesty against us. …
And Pfizer and others even decided to not assess the results of their vaccine; in other words, not come out with a vaccine until just after the election. …
So they waited and waited and waited. And they thought they’d come out with it a few days after the election. And it would’ve probably had an impact. Who knows? Maybe it wouldn’t have. I’m sure they would’ve found the ballots someplace—the Democrats and the group.
In July 2020, Trump tweeted: “Big Pharma is taking television ads trying to make the case that I am raising prescription drug prices on seniors. The ad is a lie! What I have done will lead to a 50 percent reduction in prices, at least, and Big Pharma is not happy about it.”
Pfizer ceo Albert Bourla said Trump’s executive orders would cause “job reductions and add to the economic and health anxiety already widely felt in our country.”
The pharmaceutical industry also supported Trump’s opposition through donations.
According to OpenSecrets, Joe Biden has been the top recipient of donations from the pharmaceutical industry from 1990 to 2024. 2020 was a significant turning point: That year, the industry broke a trend of favoring the Republican Party in their donations and instead overwhelmingly supported the Democrats and presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Pfizer was no exception. Its employees and affiliated political action committees greatly favored Democrats over Republicans in the election campaign. The top recipient—with $418,399 in contributions—was Joe Biden.
“Joe Biden has Big Pharma—as well as Big Tech and big banks—in his pocket because he’s worked for them for nearly 50 years, rather than the American people,” said Samantha Zager, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign in 2020.
The negative advertisements and the delayed covid vaccine announcements were just one part of what Joe Biden called “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” After the election, all the media was suddenly “brought to you by Pfizer” and the election steal was a prohibited topic.
But a little discussed fact is that this steal was partly enabled and sponsored by Germany.
Pfizer was founded by German immigrants to the U.S., and its recent vaccine development was largely enabled by the German government. In 2018, Germany’s BioNTech entered cooperation with Pfizer, which led to their breakthrough in offering one of the first vaccines against covid-19. Germany financed Pfizer from the beginning. Bloomberg wrote: “Pfizer Vaccine’s Funding Came From Berlin, Not Washington.” Pfizer then financed U.S. media to attack Trump and promote lies. Around the same time, Germany became the largest supporter of the World Health Organization.
Given all the evidence and the German government’s opposition against Trump, one would have to conclude that Pfizer was an extension of that opposition. But there is more evidence that Germany was in on the attacks against Trump.
In early 2020, German virologist Christian Drosten discussed the origin of covid with his American counterpart, Anthony Fauci—as a result, the virus’s lab origins were covered up. Trump spoke openly about a lab leak, and the scientific community united against him, portraying him as an ignorant denier of science.
The German government also shaped the narrative. Bild revealed in 2023: “In the first summer of the coronavirus, when the pandemic wave subsided and dissatisfaction with the measures increased, the government convened a secret meeting with the largest social networks Facebook (including Instagram, now renamed Meta) and Google (including YouTube). … Topic of the summit: ‘The coronavirus pandemic and the spread of misinformation, false information and disinformation in this context.’”
Germany was not only on board with spreading hysteria over the coronavirus outbreak and advocating unscientific coronavirus measures, it was part of shaping the narrative and censoring opposing narratives. The fact that it was also in the interest of “European authorities” to delay the approval of a vaccine reveals that there was political motivation.
Studies have found that 98 percent of German news coverage is negative toward Trump. Many German politicians have criticized him and labeled him as one of the biggest risks to our world. More evidence is accumulating that Germany tried everything to get Donald Trump out of the White House.
It is important to remember how crucial the pandemic was in removing Trump from office. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry writes in America Under Attack:
Very importantly, drastic government actions made possible only by coronavirus fears revolutionized elections in America. The push for mail-in balloting and other loosening of or illegally breaking long-standing election standards that protect against fraud could only have happened by heavily marketed virus fears. covid-19 enabled the Democratic Party to field a presidential candidate who could not endure the rigors of a national campaign and who electioneered through Zoom calls from his basement. covid-19 made it possible for Joe Biden to host a limited number of “rallies” attended by handpicked individuals seated in sparse numbers of chairs spaced far apart from each other. covid-19 guaranteed a historically bizarre campaign and unprecedented election that installed Barack Obama’s choice for president in the White House.
Germany, China and the Obama-led deep state cooperated in this steal. Although each had its own interests, they shared a common enemy: Trump.
