Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Files Articles of Impeachment Against Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York introduced articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito on July 12 over their refusal to recuse themselves from certain cases involving Donald Trump and January 6 protesters.
Apparently, Thomas is friends with Republican mega-donor Harlan Crow and Alito is friends with hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer. Ocasio-Cortez is alleging that vacations Thomas and Alito took with these friends could be construed as bribery.
Additionally, Alito’s wife has flown an “Appeal to Heaven” flag that has been carried in recent years by members of the “Stop the Steal” movement, so it has been rumored that Alito may believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
Radical cosponsors: Ocasio-Cortez’s impeachment files were cosponsored by Democrats:
- Rep. Barbara Lee of California
- Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan
- Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman of New Jersey
- Rep. Delia Ramirez of Illinois
- Rep. Maxwell Frost of Florida
- Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota
- Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York
It is highly unlikely the impeachment inquiry will get very far. Both Thomas and Alito have a right to go on vacations with rich friends if they want to do so, and no evidence has been presented that these vacations influenced their decisions in recent court cases.
Whether Thomas and Alito believe the 2020 election was stolen does not change the fact that both of these men are self-avowed constitutional originalists who believe they must uphold the text of the U.S. Constitution above their personal political preferences. If Ocasio-Cortez and her associates dislike Thomas and Alito’s rulings, they should explain why these rulings are unconstitutional instead of making unverified claims about bribery.
Rule of law: A prophecy in Amos 7:13 describes a king’s chapel and a king’s court that support an end-time type of King Jeroboam ii. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has explained that Donald Trump is this end-time Jeroboam ii. In January 2019, Mr. Flurry showed that “the king’s chapel” is “a place of worship that belongs to the king,” and “the king’s court” (better translated as “the kingdom’s court”) is a “nonreligious entity … referring to the United States Supreme Court.”
The Supreme Court lacked the courage to stop election theft, government tyranny and other issues in 2020. But it has begun pushing back against the radical left’s attempts to prosecute those investigating election fraud.
Keep watching for the Supreme Court to expose such fraud in a way that benefits Donald Trump’s campaign. It is not making these rulings because of bribery or corruption, but because God prophesied that the rule of law would be reestablished in America.
