Biden Tests Positive for COVID-19
United States President Joe Biden, who is 81 years old, tested positive for covid-19 during a trip to Las Vegas, the White House announced on Wednesday. He is now self-isolating at his home in Delaware.
“I feel good,” Biden said as he gave reporters a thumbs-up.
“He is vaccinated and boosted and experiencing mild symptoms,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
‘Medical condition’: Only hours before, Biden said in an interview with bet journalist Ed Gordon that he would drop out of the presidential race if “I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if the doctors came and said, ‘You’ve got this problem, that problem.’”
Then he came down with covid-19. Some are speculating whether this is the “medical condition” he was talking about.
Even after the disastrous debate with Donald Trump, Biden told crowds, “I’m not going anywhere.”
On his way out? But as the Trumpet has pointed out for years, Biden is not the man calling the shots. After months of embarrassing setbacks, persistent calls to step aside, and now a case of covid-19, is it possible that President Biden may finally be on his way out?
