Donald Trump is not fighting a candidate: He’s fighting a machine. The past week and a half have exposed that fact to the world. A week and a half ago, Kamala Devi Harris was the odd, underqualified sidekick to Joe Biden, the odd, underpowered sidekick to Barack Obama. She was known mainly for her personality and Obama-Biden delegating the border crisis to her. But suddenly she has become the center of a “Kamala-mania” manufactured by the radicals to keep themselves in power.

Understand the extremely wild times in which we are living, just in these past few weeks. After disastrous debate and interview appearances in late June and July, Joe Biden completely disappeared from public view for six straight days, supposedly isolating for covid at one of his homes in Delaware. It was during that disappearance that the social media statement emerged under his name ending the Biden 2024 campaign after only three months—an extremely rare move for an incumbent president, and unprecedented for someone who came to office with supposedly more popular support than any president in history. But he quit and immediately endorsed the woman who came to power with him through the highly irregular 2020 election: Kamala Harris.

Forgetting for a moment her apparently less-than-respectable early rise in California politics, you’ll remember that Harris had her 15 minutes of fame for attacking Joe Biden in a 2019 debate, peaking at 14 percent of likely Democrat voters, then falling back to 3 percent a few months later. She quit the 2020 presidential race in sixth place, before even the first primary voters cast their ballots.

Fast-forward to 2024: The primaries are mostly over, Harris has still won zero votes from actual Democrat primary voters, yet Democrats, Republicans and the world are being told she will be the next president of the United States.

Can they artificially spin someone all the way into the White House? They’ve done it before.

In the past week or so, Harris has gone from being the public face of the border crisis to being the second coming of Barack Hussein Obama. It took less than 90 minutes for Bill and Hillary Clinton to endorse her after Biden dropped out. Obama waited for five days, then endorsed her in a stilted phone call. But now that the leader has spoken, Kamala’s position as the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party—regardless of the will of Democratic Party voters—is assured. And right on time, we’ve seen the propaganda media machine churn out fawning descriptions of her as so real, so organic, so great with her “self-help speaking style,” so effortlessly conjecturing that she may win more public support than Obama in 2008.

Joe Biden, portrayed by the liberal media as “the best Joe Biden” in decades and the best choice as commander in chief, is now old news, and Kamala derangement syndrome is here.

The fakery in our political system has never been more obvious. Barack and Michelle Obama’s phone call to Kamala was cringeworthy. It was obviously intended to feel natural and organic, but instead it felt completely staged.

A source close to the Biden family is now saying that Obama pressured Biden to bow out of the race against his will and told him to allow delegates at next month’s Democratic National Convention to pick a new candidate. But Biden endorsed Kamala against Obama’s wishes as a way to prove that he is a big man who does not have to always do exactly as Obama says. This is just a rumor, of course, but other sources have claimed to the New York Post that Obama actually wanted Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly “at the top of the ticket” at the Democratic National Convention and only reluctantly endorsed Kamala after Biden disobeyed him and triggered a chain reaction.

This explanation actually makes a lot of sense. Neither Obama nor the Democratic Party has been grooming Kamala for leadership. In fact, until recently, Democratic elites have blamed the border crisis on her or ignored her outright. Biden appears to have made one rogue move, and the Clintons followed suit. Obama probably wasn’t happy about it, as he knows Kamala stands little chance against Donald Trump in a free and fair election. But once she had the support of 1,991 Democratic delegates, Obama had little choice but to play the hand he was dealt. Now the propaganda media is playing catch-up and trying to make it look like Kamala is the most popular person on Earth.

Axios has pivoted so fast that the heads in the newsroom must be spinning. It has “fact-checked” people who point out that Biden assigned Kamala to be the “border czar,” asserting that she “never actually had” that title. The term “czar” is obviously political slang. Regardless, Axios itself published at the time, like many other news outlets, that Kamala was “appointed by Biden as border czar.” You can’t make this stuff up. The propaganda media is now attacking conservatives for believing the exact thing the propaganda media asserted not long ago. But opinion polls show that inflation and border security are among the most important issues to the average American voter, so the narrative must change to make it look like Kamala has nothing to do with illegal immigration.

A July 19–21 Quinnipiac poll showed Kamala is less popular than Joe Biden with voters ages 18 to 34, yet you would never know this by reading corporate media coverage. The news is trying to turn this unpopular candidate into a trendy, woke saint. Headlines are praising Kamala as a history-making woman of color. She isn’t the border czar; she is an African-Indian-American heroine who broke the glass ceiling and became the first female vice president. She is a role model for little girls. She inspires joy, while looking fabulous in a pantsuit and pearls. She is ambitious, capable, compassionate, formidable, intelligent, ruthless, pragmatic—and the only person who can beat Donald Trump.

How did everyone overlook such qualities of leadership in Kamala Harris? Now that the struggle among Democrat elites—especially Biden and Obama—has breezily overruled the will of Democratic Party primary voters, at this exact political millisecond, “independent” and “unbiased” journalists have suddenly discovered her greatness.

Salon went so far as to portray the 2024 campaign this way: “Donald Trump Is Suddenly Running Scared.” But that headline, like the others, is a stark look into wishful thinking reported as fact. Trump is definitely not running scared of Kamala, and the main takeaway from the propaganda media’s sudden beatification of Kamala is actually evidence that Obama is losing control of the Democratic Party. Had things gone according to plan, Biden’s dropping out would have allowed Obama to influence a mini-convention to pick the Democrat with the best possible chance of beating Trump—and the one most loyal to Obama and his fundamental transformation of America.

Instead, Biden released years of pent-up resentment by pushing forward his own candidate. Now the regime media has to contort and bend what’s left of its credibility to turn Kamala into a living legend in about 100 days before voters have to make a selection between “Kamala Harris” and “Donald Trump.”

“The manufactured enthusiasm for Kamala Harris has begun, and the first 48 hours of the marketing blitz are exactly as we should expect,” Mark Bradman at Conservative Treehouse wrote. “The next few months are going to be ridiculous at a level beyond the Lightbringer. Fortunately, a person who was perhaps not paying attention in ’07 and ’08 will now get to witness something they missed before, and the ears might not be as deaf as they were 16 years ago.”

Like I told you on July 9, prepare for election year chaos. The rest of the summer is going to be wild. It has never been clearer that someone other than Joe Biden controls the regime. Obama still yields tremendous power, but the last-minute shift from Biden to Saint Kamala is a strong indication that his grip on the Democratic Party is slipping. Kamala’s chance of winning the 2024 presidential election is extremely remote, so it looks like he is about to finally lose control of the government to Donald Trump. We have long reported that a prophecy in Amos 7 states God will pass by America one last time so people have a chance to solve the terrible problems afflicting the nation. Yet this passage does not mention an Obama-like figure. Is this because he is off the scene after Trump regains office?

After nearly 16 years of bitter affliction, America may soon be rid of Obama and Biden (and Harris). This is great news, but Americans need to understand why God is saving America. It is not because Americans have repented of the sins that allowed Obama to hijack the country. It is because Obama’s transformational destruction is so severe that if he were allowed to continue, America would be destroyed and not have the chance to repent of its sins. God promises to spare America in Amos 7:8, but He also promises that this is the last time He will pass over America’s sins before He allows our nation to be destroyed because of them.
