Musk Interviews Trump on X

Over 1 million people tuned in to Elon Musk and President Donald Trump’s two-hour-long interview on X Monday evening. Subsequent views and comments now total around 1 billion.

Late: The interview began more than 40 mintues late due to technical problems. Musk said the platform was under a “massive” distributed denial-of-service attack (ddos), a cyberattack that disrupts a server by overwhelming it with a flood of traffic.

“Basically hundreds of gigabytes of data were saturated,” Musk explained.

The platform’s live tracker recorded 1.3 million listeners during the interview. As of the time of writing, President Trump’s post of the recording now has:

  • 139.7 million views
  • 75,000 bookmarks

‘Act of God’: Musk began the discussion by complimenting Trump for showing “strength under fire” at his July 13 rally in Pennsylvania.

I have to say that your actions after that assassination attempt were inspiring. Instead of shying away from things, instead of ducking down, you were pumping your fist in the air and saying, “Fight, fight, fight.” And I think that’s, I mean, the president of the United States represents America. And I think that is America, that is strength under fire.
—Elon Musk

President Trump explained what he experienced when the bullet grazed his ear instead of killing him.

It’s very much, I say, an act of God. It’s a miracle that it happened. And I’m honored by it. I’m honored by it.
—Donald Trump

They then continued to discuss a number of topics.

Immigration: Trump said migrants need to be checked at the border because countries around the world are sending criminals into America and a massive deportation will have to take place to get rid of them.

As an example, Venezuela, their crime is down 72 percent. They’re taking their drug dealers. They’re taking, frankly, their prisoners. They’re emptying out their prisons. They’re taking their criminals, their murderers, their rapists, and they’re delivering them into [America].
—Donald Trump

Defense: Trump said he would stand up to leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Elon, I know every one of them and I know them well. I know Putin; I know President Xi. I know Kim Jong-un of North Korea. … They’re at the top of their game. They’re tough, they’re smart, they’re vicious, and they’re gonna protect their country. … But these are tough people at the top of their game. And when they see a Kamala, or when they see Biden, Sleepy Joe, they can’t even believe it.
—Donald Trump

He said he wants to build in America an Iron Dome missile defense system like Israel has:

We’re gonna have the best Iron Dome in the world. We need it. And we’re gonna make it all in the United States, but we’re gonna have protection because it just takes one maniac to start something. We’re gonna have protection.

Spending: Musk said there needs to be a new government commission to manage spending and control inflation, and Trump agreed. Musk offered to help in the commission.

I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency commission that takes a look at these things and just ensures that the … taxpayers’ hard-earned money is spent in a good way. And I’d be happy to help out on such a commission.
—Elon Musk

Education: Trump said he wants to do away with the Department of Education and move the education sector back under each state’s control.

If you moved education back to the 50 [states], you’ll have some that won’t do well, but they’ll actually be forced to do better because it’ll be a pretty bad situation.
—Donald Trump

Trump and Musk also talked about:

  • Climate change
  • Nuclear development
  • Kamala Harris
  • Technology
  • The police force

Prophesied return: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has said that Donald Trump will return to the presidency and lead a temporary resurgence in America. This statement is based on Bible prophecy.

To understand, read Mr. Flurry’s article “Why I Still Believe Donald Trump Is Coming Back” and watch for these prophecies to come to pass.
