Harris Unveils Communist Economic Plan

Which candidate really supports Russian ideologies?

United States Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris laid out her economic plan on Friday—with aspects that look disturbingly Communist.

Harris’s “opportunity economy” is aimed at winning middle-class voters. To address high prices on goods, she “will work to pass the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food.” She plans to “take on the issue of the cost of health care” by working to “cancel medical debt” for millions of Americans. She also pledged to “provide first-time homebuyers with $25,000” and “provide $6,000 in tax relief to families during the first year of a child’s life.” Harris claimed she could do all this while cutting taxes and “reducing the deficit.”

When considering where all these handouts would lead, it becomes clear that Harris’s economic plan would be detrimental to American finances—both personal and national.

Many, even on the left, are critical of Harris’s plan. Jason Furman, a Harvard economist who worked under Barack Obama, said, “This is not sensible policy, and I think the biggest hope is that it ends up being a lot of rhetoric and no reality. … There’s no upside here, and there is some downside.”

If 1.5 million first-time homebuyers take advantage of Harris’s $25,000 pledge, it would cost the U.S. government $37.5 billion. In addition to that, if 3.5 million babies are born in the U.S. under Harris’s rule—lower than the 2023 number—and the government pays $6,000 for each of them, it will cost $21 billion. This is in addition to Harris’s other expensive plans.

Cutting taxes would mean even more borrowing—or money printing. This will raise both inflation and the deficit.

Many consider Harris’s attempts to stop “price gouging” to be more concerning than any of her other policies. Price gouging is the act of charging excessive prices for low-supply products in high demand. This practice is already illegal in many states. Meanwhile, last year, grocery industry profit margins, according to the Food Industry Association, were a modest 1.6 percent. Price gouging is not the reason why grocery prices are so high.

The real reason is that “Bidenomics” has failed. Harris acknowledged that the price of “a loaf of bread costs 50 percent more today than it did before the pandemic. Ground beef is up almost 50 percent.” But she can’t blame covid for this because she said, “Our supply chains have now improved.” To win votes, however, she can’t admit the failures of “Bidenomics” because she is part of Biden’s administration.

Harris wants the government to control the price of goods instead of letting supply and demand decide. Some have pointed out that America tried this in the 1970s and it failed. Many others point out that price controls are a very Communist concept. It has never worked. When prices aren’t controlled by supply and demand, it increases demand but makes no change to supply. This actually discourages new businesses from joining the market, compounding supply problems.

Using Bible prophecy, the late Plain Truth editor in chief Herbert Armstrong warned of a Communist infiltration of America. Now, a presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is openly advocating for Communist ideology.

Bible prophecy reveals a lot about the attack we see on America today. It also foretells that it will fail. By explaining these prophecies, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote a book described by former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn as “the who, what, when, why and how” of what is happening in America today.
