In a recently revealed video, Rep. Jamie Raskin said the quiet part out loud. The video from an event in February shows him asserting that if the Supreme Court of the United States did not block Donald Trump from office, he and other members of Congress would do it.

“It’s going to be up to us, on Jan. 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said, “and then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions ….”

Not long afterward, the Supreme Court issued its decision. The question was: Did the courts have the authority to bar Donald Trump from becoming president in 2025 if they thought he was guilty of insurrection in 2021 (under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment)? The Colorado Supreme Court said yes. The Supreme Court of the United States said no: “Because the Constitution makes Congress, rather than the states, responsible for enforcing Section 3 against federal office holders and candidates, we reverse.”

Now Raskin’s comments—threats—come sharply back into focus: The Supreme Court refuses to block the will of American voters in a free-and-fair 2024 election. Therefore, liberals like him are planning now to block it on January 6, under implied threat of violence and civil war. The representatives of the people are planning to block the will of the people.

When members of Congress met on Jan. 6, 2021, it was to decide whether to certify an election filled with the media manipulating political information, voting machines connecting to the Internet, truckloads of ballots crossing state lines, duplicate counting, strange signatures, late voting, dead voting, and other massive irregularities favoring one particular candidate. Some representatives wanted to discuss and debate whether this had suppressed the will of the American people. Radicals like Raskin raged against that idea and used the suspiciously convenient crisis of the riot at the Capitol to shut down debate, certify Joe Biden in the middle of the night as the most popular candidate in American history, and install him as president.

When members of Congress meet on Jan. 6, 2025, it will be to decide whether to certify the Nov. 5, 2024, election. Judging by the remarks of Raskin and other radicals, it seems they are not counting on a wildly irregular election producing a win for Joe Biden—make that Kamala Harris—make that whomever Barack Obama and Democrat elites install. Everybody knows that the tens of millions of votes for Trump reflect the will of the people. So Raskin and others don’t want you to focus on the will of the people or the vote tallies this time around. They’ll ignore all that, claim Donald Trump was guilty of insurrection, and invalidate the will of the people even after he is elected!

Raskin has voiced the Democrats’ strategy to do on January 6 what they wrongfully accused President Trump of doing on January 6.

This is what an actual threat to democracy looks like!

No matter how much you talk about the Constitution or how you are “saving democracy,” directly invalidating the votes of tens of millions of people is a blatant attack on democracy, especially when there is no constitutional justification for it. Donald Trump’s actions surrounding Jan. 6, 2021, are plain: He is clearly innocent of an “insurrection.” The will of the American people is not to bar Trump from office as an insurrectionist: That’s the will of Raskin and the radicals. And they absolutely worship their own will.

My father’s book America Under Attack explains the radical spirit behind leftist warfare against Trump. The battles have been constant: manipulating the media bias against Trump in the 2016 election, rejecting the legitimacy of his win, framing him for colluding with Russian oligarchs, impeaching him for investigating Biden family corruption in Ukraine, outright stealing the 2020 election, shutting down all legal challenges addressing the steal, falsely accusing him of leading a violent insurrection, contorting anything from the Logan Act to archival laws to campaign finance laws to launch increasingly bizarre lawfare prosecutions against him, especially ones that can result in barring him from office.

This is not “saving democracy.” This is a continuing destruction of American democracy, designed to prevent the American presidency from going to the man who is the will of the American people.

Democrats like Raskin are openly admitting that they will overturn the will of the people to stop Donald Trump.

My father compares Barack Obama to Antiochus iv Epiphanes in his book and cites 2 Kings 14:26 and Daniel 8:12 as prophecies that Obama and his legion of supporters are trying to fundamentally transform America into a radical socialist dictatorship. “America is in the throes of an Antiochus regime that is rapidly driving the nation toward radicalism, socialism, amorality, class division, civil war and outright destruction,” he writes in America Under Attack. “In 2 Kings 14:26, America’s affliction is very bitter, and the nation has no helper!”

There is an abundance of evidence that anti-Trump forces in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Secret Service may even have been behind Thomas Crooks’s recent attempt to assassinate President Trump. You can read this evidence in my article “The Truth About the Assassination Attempt.” Had this assassination attempt succeeded, America would almost certainly have plunged into civil war. And if Jamie Raskin’s attempt to have Congress nullify the votes of the American people succeeds, America will almost certainly plunge into civil war.

Chapter 10, “Donald Trump Will War His Way Back,” in America Under Attack explains how 2 Kings 14:26-28 tell us Trump will have to fight to regain office after the election was stolen from him. This may be a legal fight, but it could also be a literal fight. The recent assassination attempts and Raskin’s leaked interview indicate that Democrats are willing to start a civil war if that’s what it takes to stop Trump from derailing their plans to fundamentally transform the nation.

The radical left is losing the support of billionaire elites like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg because of its deranged, anti-Trump agenda. Musk admitted as much in an August 12 interview with Trump where he said that the Biden regime has become so radical that even moderate leftists must now support Trump if they want to keep their constitutional right to free speech.

The left is waking up to the fact that they cannot win a free and fair election if even moderate leftists are abandoning them. The only way they can keep power is to ban Trump from office or kill him. The Supreme Court won’t let them do the former, and the assassination attempt failed. Will civil war be the next move? America Under Attack suggests there may be some “warring and voting combined” this fall.

Radical Democrats have been talking about Donald Trump’s supposed January 6 insurrection for nearly four years, even as they plot their own January 6 insurrection. They don’t care what the Supreme Court says, and they don’t care what the American people say. Their modus operandi is ban Trump from office at all costs.

The Supreme Court “want[s] to kick it to Congress, so it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said in a panel discussion on February 17. “And then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions all because nine justices—not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not much work to do, have a huge staff, great protection—simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means.”

This is a shocking statement. Raskin is actually predicting a civil war in America because the Supreme Court upheld the Constitution instead of banning Trump from office like the left wanted. My father’s recent article “America’s Supreme Court Has Fulfilled Bible Prophecy” says the Supreme Court’s decision to let Trump run in the 2024 presidential election actually fulfills a Bible prophecy in Amos 7:13 about the “king’s court” supporting an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii (aka Donald Trump). But the leftists are rejecting this Supreme Court decision, so Trump may have to do some literal fighting to uphold the rule of law.

A perfect storm is brewing in America. As a young man at Occidental College, Barack Obama joined the Democratic Socialist Alliance, a Marxist-socialist fellowship founded by Dr. John Drew (a political scientist who has since repudiated Marxism). Back in those days, Obama openly advocated for a violent Communist revolution in America. But other Marxists convinced him it was better to infiltrate the system from the inside. Obama heeded their words and has had great success infiltrating America and slowly changing it into a socialist state. But if Trump reverses his slow-burning revolution, Obama may revert to his old strategy.

A sobering prophecy in Ezekiel 5:12 reveals that one third of the population of end-time America and Britain will die from the pestilence, famine and violence that will result from civil war. Violence is coming. The worst of it won’t happen until Trump is off the scene, but we might get a preview of it on his way back to office. The Biden administration has let more than 8 million illegal immigrants into America who could participate in violent race riots against the candidate who wants to defend America’s southern border.

M. D. Kittle at the Federalist wrote, “In a tinderbox election year seared by an assassination attempt against the gop’s presidential candidate, Raskin’s threatening rhetoric now seems more like the release of the whirlwind than ever.” He is absolutely right! There may or may not be violence this coming January 6, but Raskin’s comments have unleashed a whirlwind, and violence is coming to America sooner or later if people do not repent. In fact, God is bringing Trump back to office so people have time to repent. But there is little time.

Many Christians now recognize that God intervened to save Trump’s life. But it’s not enough to realize that God is intervening in American affairs; we need to understand why He is intervening. Your only hope depends entirely on repenting of sin (Amos 7:8).
