Donald Trump is not fighting a candidate: He’s fighting a machine. The past few months have exposed this fact to the world.

We live in extremely wild times. Let’s start with the state of American presidential politics right now and then trace it back. Right now, Kamala Harris is the epicenter of “Kamala-mania.” She is the savior of the Democratic Party and the future of the country. But just a couple of months ago, she was the unpopular, underqualified sidekick to Joe Biden, the unpopular, underpowered sidekick to Barack Obama. As far as actual governing experience, she was known mainly for being delegated the border crisis.

It has been three years Biden appointed Kamala as his “border czar,” yet neither Biden nor Kamala has taken meaningful action to stop the flow of illegal aliens. In fact, their administration has flown immigrants to cities in the interior of the U.S. to clear out room for more at the border. Yet, you would never know this if your only exposure to American news was Democratic National Convention speeches.

“For 20 years, Mayor Harris has been tough as nails when it comes to securing our border,” Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy told conference attendees on August 20. “When she was the California prosecutor, she went after drug smugglers, human traffickers—she put 100 gang members away in a sweep.”

Despite Murphy’s praise, however, Kamala’s record shows that she is a political chameleon. When it suits her career ambitions to be hard on crime, she can harden her resolve. When it suits her ambitions to be soft on crime, she is soft. Back when she was the district attorney of San Francisco, it was in her interest to bring down the city’s skyrocketing murder rate. After she became vice president, the Obama alumni surrounding her wanted more illegal immigrants in this country. So when Biden tasked her with securing the border, she turned a blind eye to the crisis.

It’s hard to believe Americans would fall for propaganda that Harris is “tough as nails,” but there are indeed millions of people preparing to cast a ballot for her in hopes that she will end the existential crisis on America’s southern border. Wild times, indeed!

Media Roller Coaster

This is the same Kamala Harris whose rise in California politics was infamously less than respectable, the same Kamala Harris who was polling at about 3 percent support from Democrats and who quit the 2020 presidential campaign before even the first Democratic primary was held. In 2024, even when Joe Biden’s mental decline was well known, Harris was not put forth as the candidate and won zero votes from Democratic primary voters. Yet now she is the candidate.

Why? Not because she campaigned, held press conferences and interviews, answered challenging questions from citizens and journalists, and convinced Americans in general—or even registered Democrats specifically—of her vision and leadership ability. It was because of the machine and the radical elites at its controls.

It was an amazing spectacle: The enormous machinations of leftist politics and media pivoted instantly to Kamala. After Biden dropped out, it took less than 90 minutes for Bill and Hillary Clinton to endorse Harris. Obama waited a few days but then made a stilted telephone call to endorse her. Once that happened, the regime media instantly spun into high gear.

With such an abrupt and suspect change of direction, you would have expected at least some differences of opinion and some debate within the Democratic Party. Yet how many voices in leftist politics and media did you hear supporting, debating the merits of, or even talking about any other Democrat than “Kamala”?

The very same news organizations that had informed us that “Harris is the border czar” yet failed to reduce migration suddenly told us that “Harris was never the border czar” yet has been stricter on migration than Donald Trump. People who knew that Harris was never a serious presidential candidate suddenly told us that Harris is the most exciting presidential candidate possible.

It was a tour de force by the radical political and media elites. When you see the spectacle and hear the hype for Kamala, you are seeing a massive left-wing political-media deception complex in action. And although he is beginning to lose his power, there is still one elite among them to watch heading into this election: Barack Hussein Obama.

From 2020 to 2024

Can the media elites artificially spin someone all the way from irrelevance into the White House? They have done it before.

The introduction to my father’s book America Under Attack is titled “The ‘Swooning’ Media.” He zeroes in on the many incidents of reporters whose behavior changed dramatically when they were near Obama. For years now, this man has exerted power on American politics that is highly abnormal!

After Obama’s endorsement, the media began working in overdrive to turn an unpopular candidate into a trendy, woke saint. Kamala is an African-Indian-American heroine role model for little girls who is not responsible for the border yet tough on the border, wonderfully woke, an inspiration of joy, intelligent, capable, ruthless, compassionate, pragmatic, formidable, fabulous-looking and the only person who can beat Donald Trump.

Never has it been so clear that the American media’s reporting is a deliberate effort to alter past, current and especially future reality by repeating lies so often the people actually start to doubt reality.

“The manufactured enthusiasm for Kamala Harris has begun, and the first 48 hours of the marketing blitz are exactly as we should expect,” wrote Mark Bradman at Conservative Treehouse. “The next few months are going to be ridiculous at a level beyond the Lightbringer [Barack Obama]. Fortunately, a person who was perhaps not paying attention in ’07 and ’08 will now get to witness something they missed before, and the ears might not be as deaf as they were 16 years ago” (July 24).

Mental Contortion

In addition to lying about Kamala’s popularity and role in the border crisis, the media is also lying about Kamala defending “democracy.” For years now, Democrats have branded themselves as “saving democracy,” making the lie so big and so bold and backed with so much power that people are afraid to challenge it.

Democrats are the party of continuously transferring power over your life out of your hands and into the hands of the central government, of constantly increasing government dependency, and—especially recently—of unaccountable bureaucracy, heavy regulation, gun confiscation, Freedom of Information denials, secret proceedings, spying, snitching, lawfare, collusion, censorship, propaganda, division over sex and sexuality, division over race, illegal immigration, importation of noncitizens, constitutional “flexibility,” and, importantly, election irregularities.

It is that party that took Joe Biden from the basement during unprecedented government lockdowns and installed him as president in 2020. Now it is working to install, without a single primary vote, Kamala Harris in 2024. When Joe Biden caved in and withdrew from the race this summer, he said he was doing it to stop Donald Trump and save democracy. If you can do the mental contortion, this means that the candidate who supposedly beat Donald Trump and won the presidency fairly with 81 million votes will now “save democracy” not by convincing Americans to vote for him again, but by quitting so Democrat elites can install someone who has never won any votes. Biden, Democrat elites and Democrats in the media are trying everything— including smears, lawfare, and trashing their credibility to manufacture “Kamala-mania”—to block the will of tens of millions of Americans who just want a free and fair election where they can vote for the candidate of their choice.

Yet this is the party that had the boldness to plaster the word “freedom” in huge letters all over their national convention in August and to shout about how they are saving democracy. This is the convention where, supposedly, Democrats pick their candidate by majority will—which would be an especially good application of “democracy” when the incumbent bows out shortly beforehand. But Democrat elites blocked that from happening, changing party rules to appoint Harris as nominee weeks ahead of time, invalidating the entire democratic exercise of its own presidential primaries and the will of millions of Democrat voters. The Democratic Party is anything but democratic!

Yet not only will they keep the name, they will cling to the narrative that they are “saving democracy.”

If you are reminded of George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, you are not the only one. That book features a powerful and all-too-familiar government propaganda agency convincing a weak and ignorant populace that not only is their ally their enemy, but it always has been.

War in ’24

In November, America’s 72 million registered Democrats may get a chance to weigh in on whether they prefer Harris or Trump, but only their elites, particularly Obama, had any say on pushing Biden out and pushing his replacement in. With such Orwellian moves being made, you can see why Democrats are relying so heavily on the “Kamala-mania” leftist newsmedia fiction. It’s their attempt to make what they have done palatable—and make Kamala Harris beating Donald Trump in the presidential election anywhere close to plausible.

The political-media complex is priming Americans for election cheating and another election steal by convincing them now that the woman no one voted for is the most popular presidential candidate possible.

Many political commentators are waking up to the fact that America is on the verge of civil war. A recently released video from an event in February shows Rep. Jamie Raskin asserting that if the Supreme Court does not block Donald Trump from office, he and other members of Congress will do it. You read that right! Raskin is so concerned about American “democracy” that if the American people decide to elect Donald Trump as president, he is willing to make Kamala the president via congressional vote instead. This is a dangerously unlawful, win-at-any-cost mentality.

M. D. Kittle at the Federalist wrote, “In a tinderbox election year seared by an assassination attempt against the gop’s presidential candidate, Raskin’s threatening rhetoric now seems more like the release of the whirlwind than ever” (August 6). This is absolutely right!

It is interesting that Kittle references the July 13 assassination attempt. For one, that dramatic event was quickly and unnaturally subdued by media elites to minimize any positive effect for Donald Trump. But there is another reason for distracting people away from the attempted murder. There is evidence not only that the Secret Service left Mr. Trump almost completely vulnerable and that the fbi is handling the investigation in suspicious ways, but also that people in both agencies may even have helped perpetrate the shooting!

If that bullet had been just half an inch to the right, America would almost certainly have plunged into civil war. But now it’s “yesterday’s news.” Why? Because Democrats, many of whom wish that shot had been fatal, don’t want the American people to examine what happened.

With this context in mind, the fact that Biden (or someone in Biden’s office) announced that he was quitting the race just hours before the congressional hearing on the assassination attempt started might not be coincidence. Since Obama was the one to force Biden’s withdrawal, his withdrawal was probably announced exactly when Obama thought best. This timing pulled people’s attention away from the assassination attempt.

Many Democrats would love to see Trump dead. Many have said as much, and many more are more guarded about it. Obama and others may have thought Biden had a chance of winning if Trump were dead. But now they are in their fallback position of trying to convince America that Kamala Harris is, if not a good leader, at least massively popular, and any election irregularities in 2024 can be ignored, like they were in 2020.

The Democrat strategy at this point is permanent coup.

When Trump won the election in 2016, “not my president” protests rocked the nation for weeks. This will undoubtedly happen again if the election is anywhere near close. And today, there are millions of illegal aliens in America who were not here in 2016, many of whom could be used to cast votes for Democrats. These illegals, some of whom are poor people desperate to stay in America, and some of whom are terrorists and agents of foreign governments could face the choice of deportation versus war.

Prepare for chaos! As wild as this year has been so far, the rest of the year will be more so.

It has never been clearer that someone other than Joe Biden controls the regime. Obama still wields tremendous power, but the last-minute shift from Biden to Kamala is an indication that his grip on power is slipping. He may become more desperate and more violent as he fights to hold on. He told delegates at the Democratic National Convention in his home city, Chicago, on August 20, “Now it is up to all of us to fight for the America we believe in. And make no mistake, it will be a fight.”

Make no mistake.

Temporary Resurgence

A perfect storm is brewing in America. As a young man at Occidental College, Obama joined the Democratic Socialist Alliance, a Marxist-socialist fellowship founded by Dr. John Drew, a conservative political scientist who has since repudiated Marxism. In those days, Obama advocated for a violent revolution in America. But other Marxists convinced him it was better to infiltrate the system from the inside. Obama heeded their words and has had great success slowly changing America into a socialist state. But if Trump reverses his gradual revolution, Obama may revert to his old strategy.

A prophecy in Ezekiel 5:12 reveals that one third of the population of end-time Israel, primarily the United States, Britain and the Jewish nation in the Middle East, will die from the pestilence, famine and violence that will result from civil war. This means violence is coming. The Biden administration has let more than 8 million illegal immigrants into America who could participate in violent race riots against the candidate who wants to defend America’s southern border. So God will have to intervene to temporarily save the nation.

Another prophecy in Amos 7 states that God will pass by America one last time to give people a final chance to repent of their terrible sins. “And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more” (verse 8).

This prophecy is why we have consistently insisted that President Trump will return to power. We do not know exactly how this will unfold, yet it will likely involve some literal fighting. A prophecy in 2 Kings 14:26-28 talks about an end-time type of King Jeroboam ii warring to recover something stolen from him, and the Obama-Biden-Harris regime has shown that it does not surrender power easily, even when people vote against them. Keep watching the rallies Mr. Trump is holding around the nation, because a great red wave is indeed going to sweep America after a trying time of conflict! But this resurgence will be only a temporary reprieve before America’s prophesied destruction if people do not repent.
