School Shooting Kills 4, Injures Dozens

Colt Gray, a 14-year-old Apalachee High School student, killed four people, hospitalized nine and injured around 30 in his Barrow County, Georgia, school on Wednesday.

Details: This is the first deadly school shooting in Georgia since 1999 and the deadliest in America this year.

  • Two students and two teachers were killed.

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office began receiving calls around 10:20 a.m. and sent law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services personnel to the scene. The high school received an earlier phone call warning of the shooting.

Gray is in custody. He will be charged with murder and tried as an adult.

Why shootings? Many wonder, if a loving, all-powerful God exists, why He would allow such evils as school shootings. The Bible not only reveals why God allows such atrocities, but it shows that they will get worse.
