Democrats Want Donald Trump Dead

After years of fantasizing about assassinating Donald Trump, Democrats are starting to take action.

Someone almost assassinated Donald Trump on Sunday. Nine weeks after Thomas Crooks grazed President Trump with a round from a rifle, Ryan Routh was discovered hiding near the Mar-a-Lago golf course with an AK-47. He was fired upon by Secret Service agents, survived unwounded, and was arrested. The fbi stated that this appears to be exactly what it looks like: another assassination attempt.

What motivated Routh?

More information will surely emerge, but we already have a sea of information on this topic—the steady, increasing, unavoidable, undeniable propaganda narrative by politicians, celebrities, media executives and their talking head employees: Someone should just kill Donald Trump.

That’s their message! They lead people right up to it, stop just short of it, and often come right out and say it. Actress Kathy Griffin posing with a mock severed head of Mr. Trump. Actor Johnny Depp saying, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? … It’s been a while. And maybe it’s time.” Actress Carole Cook: “Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” Singer Madonna Ciccone: “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.” Lincoln Project cofounder Rick Wilson: “They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.” Joe Biden: “[I]t’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.” Political hosts and their guests analyzing the “similarities” between President Trump and Adolf Hitler—a man who started a war that killed 60 million people and committed genocide against 6 million Jews—leading millions of viewers to make their own conclusions, some of whom conclude that someone should just kill Donald Trump.

Fortunately, the Secret Service agents on duty at Mar-a-Lago on September 15 were more loyal to Trump than the Secret Service agents in charge of securing the Butler Farm Show grounds on September 13; Routh failed to fire any shots and is now in custody. Apparently, he is a Democrat donor who has been arrested about 100 times before and coauthored a book calling for Trump’s assassination. As a would-be soldier of fortune who vowed to fight and die for Ukraine, Routh has apparently bought into the left-wing narrative that Trump is a de facto agent of Vladimir Putin who should be killed. So he tried to do just that.

Trump thanked the Secret Service and local law enforcement for an “outstanding” response to this second assassination attempt, and blamed both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for the supercharged rhetoric that has encouraged violent attacks. “He believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it,” Trump told Fox News on September 16. “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country—both from the inside and out. … It is called the enemy from within. They are the real threat.”

It’s hard to argue with logic like this. Routh actually supported Trump back in 2016. Yet after eight years of listening to the Democrats describing Trump as a Russian agent, he came to believe that killing Trump is the only way to save the world. Like would-be assassin Thomas Crooks, this man has become deluded by left-wing propaganda.

Joe Biden tried to deflect blame away from himself after Crooks fired eight shots at Trump by calling on Americans to cool down the political temperature. Yet Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz did not listen. Just a few weeks afterward, he called Donald Trump a “threat to Democracy” and a “fascist” who will “put people’s lives in danger.”

This rhetoric is dangerously irresponsible. Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler were fascists who “put people’s lives in danger.” And an argument can be made that millions of lives could have been saved if someone assassinated these two men before World War ii started. How does Walz think people like Routh are going to respond when he talks like this? Routh’s truck has a Harris-Walz bumper sticker, so he clearly respects what Kamala Harris and Tim Walz say. Trump is likely right that Routh listened to Democratic Party rhetoric, picked up an AK-47, and acted on what he heard.

A Secret Service whistleblower warned in July that there would be more assassination attempts on Trump’s life after the agency’s failure to stop a 20-year-old nursing home dietary aide with no military training from firing eight shots at the Republican frontrunner. It looks like he was right! Yet the Democrats are not about to stop comparing Trump to a fascist dictator, so the attempts on Donald Trump’s life will likely continue until there is a change in administration.

At this point, Democrats are comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler because they want someone to shoot him. Yet, try as they might, Trump is not going to be assassinated before he regains office. God has promised to save America by the hand of an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii (2 Kings 14:26-28; Amos 7:8), and my father has identified Donald Trump as this Jeroboam antitype. This means he will not be killed before he has finished the task God set out for him.

The fact that so many Democrats want Trump dead proves he is the man God is using to save America from the radical left. In fact, more and more Christians are recognizing that God intervened to save Trump’s life from an assassin’s bullet in July. This second assassination attempt shows that God will continue intervening in American affairs. But it’s not enough to realize that God is intervening in American affairs; we need to understand why He is intervening.
