Leading Secret Service Agent Knew of July 13 Threat, Did Nothing
The Secret Service agent in charge of defending Donald Trump at his July 13 rally had “credible intelligence” of a threat, but she didn’t tell anyone and lied about it. This was revealed in a report released on Wednesday by the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs and the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
Why it matters: If nothing else, this shows extreme negligence by the Secret Service. But it also raises more questions about how this was allowed to happen.
Details: The agent claimed she told the special agent in charge (saic) of the Secret Service’s Pittsburgh field office of the threat before the rally. But the saic said that never happened.
- In truth, the lead agent reported “no adverse intelligence,” even though she knew there was credible intelligence of a threat.
The saic said, had he known about this intelligence, he may have moved Trump’s rally indoors, preventing the assassination attempt.
Prophetic perspective: Bible prophecy shows that Donald Trump will face attacks from all sides. We don’t know all the details behind this assassination attempt, but numerous factors raise important questions.
