India Approves Two Major Militarization Projects

India approved two major military deals on Wednesday, including the construction of nuclear-powered submarines (ssns), which will lift the world’s most populous nation to new heights of military power.

Why it matters: Indian authorities feel that they must expand their nation’s forces as threats from China and Pakistan grow. India’s calculus is driven partly by the decline of the United States, as partner nations see that they can no longer rely on Washington as they once did. The news also highlights India’s expanding military capabilities.

Before now, only the U.S., United Kingdom, France, Russia and China have had the technology to build and operate ssns.

Details: The decision by the Cabinet Committee on Security, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, clears the way for India to buy 31 MQ-9B Predator missile firing drones from the United States for $3.3 billion and construct two ssns for $4.8 billion.

Fifteen drones will go to the Navy while eight each will go to the Army and Air Force. Each of these drones will be made in India. The first will come in three years; all 31 will be completed within six years.

Construction of the first ssn is expected to take 10 to 12 years.

Prophesied militarization: Bible prophecy foretells that India will soon take part in the largest military alliance in human history. This Russia-led coalition will be a major player in a nuclear World War iii.

Though India is militarizing against threats like China and Pakistan today, the Bible reveals that these nations will lay aside their differences and join forces under Russia’s leadership.
