Why We Expected Donald Trump to Win

The results are in. Although former President Barack Obama posted last night on X, “It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either,” the results are in and clear: Donald Trump is the next president. The seven key swing states everyone focused on have voted for Mr. Trump or are leaning in that direction. Crucially, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia all voted for Trump. Michigan and Nevada seem almost set to go his way. Arizona has counted only 63 percent of its votes (why are they so bad at counting?), but President Trump is in the lead. The Republicans are set to control the Senate with at least 52 seats. It also looks like Republicans will control the House and that Mr. Trump won the popular vote.

Four years ago, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry said Donald Trump would win the 2020 election. That didn’t happen. But shortly afterward he wrote:

I want you to remember what I wrote in that article. I am not running away from it. What happened in America at the inauguration is not the end of the story.

God prophesies in the Bible, and His prophecies are sure! (2 Peter 1:19). However, He usually does not show the whole picture in detail or all at once. He often speaks in a coded way, and only later reveals that code.

Mr. Flurry described the several prophecies and commented that “we can be sure God is going to return Donald Trump to power sooner or later. “

Then over this past summer, Mr. Flurry wrote that God “is beginning to silence” Mr. Obama. “Barack Obama’s power is diminishing before our eyes,” he wrote.

We’re seeing the fulfillment of both these prophecies.

What next? This morning I recorded a video with Josué Michels on how this will accelerate Bible prophecy in Europe.

I also talked to Philip Nice and Andrew Miiller about what comes next from an American perspective.

Most importantly, keep an eye on what is sure to be an exciting Trumpet Daily.
