Russia Amasses Troops for New Kursk Counteroffensive

Russia has deployed 50,000 troops to Kursk as it prepares to launch a new counteroffensive to push Ukrainian forces out of the region, Ukrainian authorities announced Monday.

Humiliated: Russia was humiliated when Ukraine seized this territory in August, and it has been working to evict those forces ever since. So far the Russians have had only incremental success.

The new deployment includes far more troops than Russia’s previous counteroffensive in September; it also includes a significant number of North Korean troops.

Although Ukraine steadily lost small amounts of ground after Russia’s first counteroffensive, it has largely maintained its position in recent weeks.

Putin will prevail: Russian President Vladimir Putin remains fiercely determined to conquer Ukraine. Though Ukraine has been able to maintain hold of Kursk since August, Bible prophecy shows that Putin will eventually dominate the region and lead a vast Asian army that will fight much larger wars.
