Gerald Flurry Was Right About Donald Trump

President-elect Donald Trump has completed the greatest political comeback in United States history. His popular vote total, 75,155,891 votes counted to date, surpasses his 2020 total of 74,223,975 votes. This means Mr. Trump has now received more votes than any candidate in American history—any candidate, that is, except Joe Biden, who benefited from the unprecedented wave of unverified mail-in ballots unleashed by the covid-19 lockdowns.

This time, Democrats tried to steal the election again, but the massive outpouring of public support for Donald Trump and his policies was just too big to rig.

But rewind to early 2021. Donald Trump was a “has-been,” a “criminal,” an “insurrectionist,” a “liability,” a “loser” and, still, a target. His enemies were extremely powerful. He hadn’t even yet publicly decided whether to try to fight back for another term. Yet my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, said he was coming back.

After the Democrats stole the election four years ago, Mr. Trump was banned from social media and forced out of the White House. Many Americans thought he was washed up. Democrats were trying to put him behind bars, while Republicans said their party needed a new leader. Yet even as Joe Biden was taking the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2021, my father, wrote: “One thing is certain: God is going to bring Mr. Trump back.”

How could he know that?

A prophecy in Amos 7 foretells of a clash between God’s prophet and a false priest who works for an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii. My father has identified Mr. Trump as this Jeroboam figure, yet no such clash between God’s prophet and a false priest has yet occurred. Therefore, Donald Trump has to come back so this prophecy can be fulfilled.

The physical evidence may not have looked good for Donald Trump for a few years, yet time has certainly vindicated my father’s prediction. After political persecution, unprecedented lawfare, two impeachments, four indictments, being sold out by his own party and being shot, Donald Trump is president-elect once again. Special counsel Jack Smith has dropped all his outstanding legal cases against Trump, and other radical leftists are finding it a lot harder to attack him now that 75 million Americans have seen it all and emphatically stated that they want Donald Trump.

The 2024 election win doesn’t just return Mr. Trump to the White House, it completely exposes the “big lie” of the 2020 election steal. The Democrats’ share of the popular vote dropped from 81 million in 2020 to 71 million in 2024. Where did these 10 million voters go? Donald Trump’s support increased by about 1 million voters, so the other 9 million or so of these missing Democrats either stayed home this election or never existed at all.

The amount of fraud in the 2020 election was truly shocking, yet God miraculously intervened to make sure the radical left couldn’t repeat it this time!

Many Republicans are waking up to the fact that God saved Donald Trump from assassination so God could use him to save America. President Trump himself said as much in his victory speech. “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason,” he said. “And that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness.”

Yet even the most fervent of Trump supporters does not fully understand why God is using Trump to save America. God is not saving the nation because its people have repented of their sins. He is saving it to give them a chance to repent! My father predicted Donald Trump’s return in the first place because the Amos 7 prophecy about a showdown between true and false Christianity has not yet occurred. Mr. Trump’s victory is a sign that this showdown is coming quickly.

Amos 7:13 says Jeroboam will be aided in his fight against the radical left by a “king’s court” and a “king’s chapel.” The Supreme Court intervened in U.S. politics to ensure Trump could run for reelection. Now religious chapels across the nation are waking up to the fact that God is using him in a miraculous way. So expect a powerful chapel of religious supporters to form around Donald Trump in the months ahead. These religious supporters are going to have to choose between believing God’s prophecies or rejecting them.

It’s not enough to realize that God is intervening in U.S. affairs; we need to understand why God is intervening. Your only hope depends entirely on repenting of sin (verse 8).

The fact that my father was able to forecast Donald Trump’s return years ahead of time shows the power of Bible prophecy. God gives people every opportunity to improve and change! Now is the time to examine what else the Bible has to say about end-time events and, even more importantly, how to live your life.
