Russia Resumes Firing Missiles at Kyiv
Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, on Wednesday. This is the first attack since August 26.
Russia’s renewed use of missiles is significant. In earlier phases of the war, Russia targeted Ukrainian power facilities, causing blackouts.
- Ukrainians fear that this week’s attack could be the start of a new campaign to damage their energy infrastructure.
- Successful attacks against Kyiv’s grid would cause more suffering in the winter.
- After Wednesday’s strike, power grid operator Ukrenergo announced an electricity limit for businesses.
Additional threats: Kyiv also faces drone attacks from Russia daily. On Saturday, Ukraine detected 145 Shahed drones targeting the city. This was one of Russia’s biggest drone attacks of the year.
Prophesied aggression: The Bible prophesies that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s military conquests will contribute to the most destructive war the world has ever seen. His actions in Ukraine show how his aggression and militarism are increasing and pushing the world toward that future war.
