Baerbock Calls for a United Europe to Face Trump

In a parliamentary discussion on Wednesday, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said Berlin’s answer to United States President-elect Donald Trump’s “America first” agenda should be “Europe united” with Germany leading.

If the U.S.A. should now say: “America first!”, our response cannot therefore be: “Germany first!”, as I have heard to some extent, but the response to “America first!” must be: “Europe united!”—with a strong Germany that is prepared to lead, to take responsibility for peace in Europe, for the people in our country, whether old or young, big or small, just as people have shown.
—Annalena Baerbock

A United States of Europe prophesied: What the Plain Truth foretold in September 1967 is now happening before our eyes:

The cry of a political union in Europe will get louder, and before long we will see the Common Market develop into a United States of Europe.

Germany’s role in this prophesied union was also foretold.

Germany inevitably [will] emerge as the leader of a united Europe.
