Hezbollah Attacks Israel With 250 Rockets and Drones

Hezbollah fired more than 250 rockets and drones at northern and central Israel throughout the day on Sunday. It was the Iran-backed terrorist group’s heaviest attack to date and comes as Israel and Lebanon are trying to finalize a ceasefire agreement.

Israel was able to intercept many of the projectiles, but not all of them. Multiple homes and businesses were damaged, and at least seven Israelis were injured by shrapnel.

The barrage follows Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem’s promise on November 20 that strikes “must be expected on central Tel Aviv” after Israel conducted air strikes on Beirut.

In addition to Tel Aviv, Hezbollah targeted three bases of the Israel Defense Forces at Haifa, Ashdod and Yavne.

Hezbollah’s agenda: Israel has stated in ceasefire negotiations that one of its main aims is to return displaced Israelis to their homes in northern Israel and to ensure their safety.

These recent strikes from Hezbollah could be its way of pressing Israel to compromise.

Israel strikes back: Israel struck back at Hezbollah, however, taking out the rocket launcher it used to target Haifa and striking targets in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Israel has had major success in pushing back against Hezbollah and has severely weakened the terrorist group in recent months.

War is still raging, but Bible prophecy shows that Iran’s terrorist proxy influence will weaken in Lebanon, opening the door for a new power to move in.
