Iran to Expand Uranium Enrichment Capability

Iran plans to use more than 6,000 new centrifuges to enrich uranium, Reuters reported on November 28.

According to a confidential report by the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran told the watchdog organization it plans to create over 6,000 new centrifuges capable of creating this vital component of nuclear weapons.

According to the report, Iran also plans to bring existing centrifuges into action.

Nuclear potential: The enrichment level the report refers to is only 5 percent, relatively low compared to the 60 percent Iran is already producing at lower quantities. Uranium needs to be enriched to 90 percent to be used in nuclear weapons. But with increased capacity, Iran could quickly transition to higher levels.

The Trumpet said: The Bible prophesies that Iran will play a key role in inciting a nuclear war. That is why the Trumpet closely watches Iran’s steps toward becoming a nuclear power.
