Poland to Invest Additional $4 Billion Into Military
Poland will take a $4 billion loan from the United States for defense spending, the Polish defense minister announced on Thursday.
Ready for war: This new loan brings the total value of U.S. loans to Poland to just over $11 billion within the last two years. At 4.2 percent, Poland is the biggest military spender in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization by percentage of gross domestic product.
Its 2025 defense spending is projected to increase to 4.7 percent of gdp.
Fear of Russia: In March, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Europe is in a “prewar era” and needs to take necessary precautions. Fear of Russia is leading Poland to align with Germany.
Prophetic view: The Bible prophesies of a united Europe rising on the world scene as a formidable military giant. Revelation 17:12 prophesies of “ten kings” that will comprise this powerhouse; five are already apparent, as detailed in the July 2023 Trumpet issue. The other five are prophesied to come from Eastern Europe. That is why the Trumpet closely watches East European nations such as Poland ramping up militarization and drawing closer to Germany.
