Approved German Arms Exports to Turkey Highest Since 2006

Germany approved arms exports worth €230 million (us$242 million) to Turkey this year, the highest number since 2006. This included €79.7 million for weapons of war and €151.1 million for other military equipment, according to the Federal Ministry of Economics.

—Olaf Scholz, chancellor of Germany
