Russian Missile Caused Azerbaijan Airlines Crash
An Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed in Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25, killing 38 passengers. The plane was shot down by a Russian surface-to-air missile, Azerbaijani government sources confirmed today.
Flight 8243 was an international passenger flight that was supposed to fly from Baku, Azerbaijan, to the city of Grozny in southern Russia, but it diverted off course over an area where Russia’s air defense was shooting down Ukrainian drones.
Sources say shrapnel of a Russian antiaircraft missile hit the aircraft. Requests by the pilots for an emergency landing at various Russian airports were denied. The aircraft was ordered to fly across the Caspian Sea toward Kazakhstan, where it crashed in Aktau.
The plane was damaged by the Russians and was sent to Kazakhstan instead of being urgently landed in Grozny to save lives.

This is the second time Russian forces have shot down a commercial airplane. The first was in 2014, with Malaysian Airlines Flight mh17 over Ukraine.
More Russian sabotage: Russia is also suspected of damaging an undersea power cable connecting Finland and Estonia, resulting in a sudden power outage on Wednesday. Finnish authorities believe the cargo ship Eagle S, belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet,” is behind the damage.
Dangerous era: When Russia invaded Georgia in 2008, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry said the world had entered a “dangerous new era.” Time has proved that statement to be accurate.
