Germany Promises Syria Another €50 Million in Aid

Germany has committed to providing Syria with another €50 million in food, shelter and medical aid, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced on Sunday.

Baerbock made the announcement at a regional conference on Syria held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The conference was also attended by Assad al-Shibani, Syria’s interim foreign minister.

  • In a press meeting before the conference, Baerbock emphasized that sanctions against those who “committed serious crimes” during Syria’s civil war must remain in place.

Benevolence? After 13 years of civil war and the collapse of dictator Bashar Assad’s regime last month, Syria is desperate for aid. Germany is wasting no time in becoming a foremost supporter of the nation in its time of need and transition.

German agenda: Bible prophecy shows that Germany’s helping hand to Syria is far more than just a gesture of good will. This is a calculated part of Germany’s advance into the Middle East.
