Iran Secretly Talking With Russia to Boost Its Nuclear Program
Iran has been holding secret talks with Russia to boost its nuclear program and air defense capabilities, the Times reported on January 12.
Ali Larijani, senior adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been taking secret flights to meet with Russian officials, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, the report said.
Nuclear cooperation: Russia used to agree with the West that it did not want Iran to become a nuclear power, but that seems to have changed since its war on Ukraine.
Russia made the decision, about the time when Iran started sending them thousands of drones to use in Ukraine, that nuclear proliferation is not such a big deal.

Iran could build a bomb without Russian help, but it would benefit in many ways from Russian expertise.
You could fly a couple of Iranian scientists to Arzamas, Penza—any of the Russian nuclear production facilities—and they could learn a lot in 24 hours. A long working weekend would give the Iranians a lot of ideas. [Iran] could learn how to build a smaller, more complex bomb. Perhaps a megaton device. Or a nuclear device that can fit inside an artillery shell.

Strategic partnership: The report comes as Putin is set to host Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Moscow on Friday, when the two will sign a “comprehensive strategic partnership.” Russia used the same name for its agreement with North Korea last year, in which the two said they would defend each other in the event of an attack.
Alliance of evil: The Russia-Iran axis is of increasing concern to Europe and is one of the factors that will prompt the Continent to unite and militarize as described in the Bible.
