Pope Suffers Second Fall, Injures Arm

On the morning of January 16, Pope Francis fell and bruised his right forearm; no fractures were sustained, according to a Vatican report.

This incident follows one on December 7, when he reportedly struck his chin on his nightstand, leaving a significant bruise. Since 2022, Francis has used a wheelchair as a mobility aid for certain occasions.

Health concerns: At 88 years old, the pope has suffered various health problems in recent years, which have prevented him from fulfilling some of his duties.

Dramatic change ahead: The Trumpet expects the Catholic Church to take on a far more powerful role in global affairs, almost certainly under the leadership of a new pope.
