ICE Arrests Over 3,500 Illegal Immigrants in Trump’s First Week Back

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ice) officers have arrested at least 3,552 illegal immigrants since United States President Donald Trump took office last week.

Since Thursday, ice has made a record number of arrests, targeting “criminal aliens who threaten national security or public safety,” the agency said in a statement.

  • On Thursday, ice arrested 538 criminals.
  • On Friday, there were 593 arrests.
  • Saturday, 286 arrests.
  • Sunday, 956 arrests.
  • Monday, 1,179 arrests.

These arrests have mainly focused on violent offenders with criminal records or connections to gangs. However, White House “border czar” Tom Homan explained that “if they’re with somebody else illegally here, they’re coming too.”

Sanctuary: Homan also said the raids are targeting “sanctuary cities,” or cities that provide asylum to illegal immigrants, such as Chicago and Los Angeles.

Sanctuary cities make it less efficient and more dangerous, but it’s not going to stop us. We’re hitting every sanctuary city right now.
—Tom Homan

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer said on Monday that sanctuary cities Boston, Denver, Chicago and New York City were all under investigation for “their impact on public safety and federal immigration enforcement.”

Crimes: Among ice’s arrests were:

  • A Mexican national convicted of child rape in Seattle, Washington
  • A Guatemalan national charged with driving under the influence, sex with a minor, and lewd acts with a minor, arrested in California
  • An Ethiopian national convicted of sexual abuse and kidnapping, arrested in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Known sex trafficker Julio Cesar Diaz Martinez, who was arrested in Buffalo, New York, where authorities rescued a female Dominican national who he was actively victimizing at the time of his detainment
  • A Jordanian national with suspected ties to the Islamic State in Buffalo, New York
  • A Mexican national with an active interpol Red Notice wanted for murder in Los Angeles, California
  • An El Salvadorian gang member wanted for aggravated homicide, arrested in Los Angeles
  • A Brazilian national convicted of vehicle manslaughter in Boston, Massachusetts
  • A Honduran national found with cocaine, fentanyl and a firearm in Seattle
  • A Honduran national charged with driving while impaired, assault on a female, and firearm offenses, arrested in Atlanta, Georgia

Other federal agencies are also making arrests, such as the Drug Enforcement Agency, which on Sunday arrested 50 undocumented migrants who have ties to Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang. Drugs, weapons and cash were seized from these individuals.

These are just some of the examples of the rapists, drug traffickers, murderers and other criminals living in America illegally that President Trump is cracking down on.

So far, 21 of President Trump’s executive actions have been aimed at changing the U.S.’s immigration system.

Many of these illegals have either been allowed over the border or protected by policies implemented by former President Barack Obama or the Joe Biden administration. There was an organized and planned purpose for this invasion. And the curses it has brought were prophesied in the Bible.
