JD Vance: German Parties Should Work With the AfD

United States Vice President JD Vance called on German mainstream parties to cooperate with the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) in an interview with the Wall Street Journal on February 14.

Current AfD chancellor candidate Alice Weidel accuses the nation of being obsessed with “a cult of guilt.”

A dangerous mix: While there are many dangerous ideologies in Germany’s political mainstream, mixing far-right ideologies into it will prove most dangerous.
